The rooms were clean and tidy. Bathroom and kitchen were clean too.

The room was really cold at night. The room I stayed in had a very old heater that didn't work. There was not enough blankets for the bed, and because it's the middle of winter, the beds needed to have more blankets, or even spare blankets to put on the top of each bed. In the kitchen there wasn't a dishcloth to wipe the bench with just one teatowel. In the bathroom there was no handtowel to dry hands, just lots of towels. There was no information folder about how to use the remote, spent time having to figure it out.

Bath dirty, no plug, so couldn’t use it. Hair in the wash basin, only one wall plug so can’t use the heater and tv together on that side of the room, bedside lamp nowhere near a plug so couldn’t use the bedside lamp either. I’ve stayed in far superior venues for far less money.

Great customer service. Offered us another Motel as we were dissatisfied with the room they had givens us. Amazing reception and very friendly- wish I could say more but the only good thing i liked from this place was the customer service.

The room was not up to standards and was not worth the amount they were charging, The room smelt and was dirty, holes in the wall and just all together not safe or hygienic. however, the staff were very lovely in upgrading our room to another Motel near by where i was satisfied.

Window in living area broken. Sofa unbelievably filthy - a poor attempt had been made to hide it with a blanket. Crockery/cutlery in cupboards was dirty. Room not suitably equipped eg Only 2 bowls for 4 guests, no tea towels etc. TV didn’t work - reception said there was no TV for whole motel as aerial was removed. Clothes belonging to a previous occupant found on the bedroom floor. Dirt and/or holes over the walls in every room. Shower door broken. Wallpaper ripped off in bathroom. Cigarette butts all over filthy balcony. Kids next door screaming and shouting and banging until past 11pm. Have attempted to contact the motel about the condition of the room but no response.

Location was not far from the ferry which was good as we had an early start

Did not measure up to advertising. Windows were dirty, tv had no aerial and did not work & battery missing from remote, crockery missing, no liquid soap in bathroom dispensors, couch stained, grounds not tidy, noisy guests all night. Told other guests were homeless being paid for by Government. Charged more on credit card than price quoted by Booking.com. This place should focus on the homeless and stop taking guests. Booking.com should remove them from their listing.

We had to return home to ChCh due to Covid lockdown and originally intended to stay 2 nights but Interislander put on an additional sailing and offered a booking on Friday instead of Saturday. We informed the motel on the Thursday evening on our arrival that we only required one night and they still made us pay for 2 ! ! ! AS it was we arrived home in ChCH outside the 72 hour deadline.
