Breakfast was great. Really enjoyed the pool. The staff were great. Compared with other hotels in Nairobi this is great. Pricey, compared with other hotels, but then again, this is one of the very few places in the centre of the business district.

Cleanliness. Roaches in room. Assistance from room staff was not speedy. Only staff member that made stay enjoyable was Jackson. He was exceptional and very kind to my children.

The fact that they couldn’t and don’t want to accommodate you when you had food brought In in case of allergies tolerances and emergencies they didn’t want to hear your own food for you and for your comfort that was a huge let down

I have stayed in the Stanly a number of times over the years. My latest stay, for five nights, fully confirmed my positive impressions of this hotel. It was good value by Nairobi standards, at least on this occasion. The hotel in extremely well located for the Central Business District and central Nairobi in general. The staff are helpful and efficient. The services in general are good. This is a well-appointed hotel. My room was spacious and well furnished. One very positive aspect compared to comparable international hotels is that the Stanley has a very agreeable African and old-world atmosphere which gives it an added touch.

The only relatively minor shortcomings I observed were: the pillows, which were synthetic and rather too hard for comfort; and the air-conditioning which was rather noisy, and hard to turn off, but as one can open the windows, it was not problematic. I did not ask the hotel to fix these issues, and, in all fairness, I am sure they would have addressed them had I done so.

Great location in city centre Different options and tasty breakfast I liked the fruits and bacon Nice staff especially Joseph introduced room well after check in, job the front manager was helpful, we booked there for 7 nights, after we face demonstration and risky situation in Nairobi, decrease to one night, he agreed with that, then when we see every thing become normal after Monday, we add two nights more

A bit dated Cockroachs inside the room and bathroom I extended date of stay from 20 to 23 but in my booking didn't add last night
