Shops and beach was close by and the facilities were nice and clean.

Honestly the weather was worst part of our weekend away.

The location was great. Easy walking distance to Waipu Beach for a walk followed by a beer in the pub also within walking distance. We ate at the same pub and it was absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere and fantastic staff. The entire area is worth a visit once or twice a year at least.

The shower area could be improved but it was not a deal breaker at all, just me being picky.

Having a private patio and swimming pool and spa right at your door was great and the grand kids loved it

Noisy baby next door woke us early. Guest issue tho really not resort but walls obviously quite thin to hear that.

Temperature of the pool, especially for a mid-winter visit. Location right by the beach, shop and not far from the local restaurant.

Found dirty socks under our beds when we were packing to leave.

Everything in this resort was absolutely beautiful and we'll put together. We loved it Soo much we will be back for a longer stay.

From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely over the moon with our choice to stay at Waipu Cove Resort. We booked via the website, after arriving in the area and deciding to spend the night. The booking process was quick and effortless, very user friendly, and within 30 minutes we arrived onsite, ready to check in. We received a warm welcome at reception and were escorted to our absolutely beautiful room and given a quick tour of the pool and spa area. The room itself, with is fresh neutral decor, top of the line appliances, modern furniture/fittings and beautiful high ceiling heights was even more beautiful in person. We stayed in Room 1, with car park directly outside. The addition of our own private courtyard, which was elegantly landscaped, made it feel like we really were in a tropical oasis. The bed was especially comfortable, with top of the line bedding and plenty of comfy pillows. My partner and I loved the large bathroom, beautifully tiled...with the same impressive ceiling height. We ran short on time to try out the heated pool, however were very pleased to see the private spa could be booked right up until 10pm, so made sure to reserve a half an hour space in the evening. We've already spread the word of our stay to several friends and family and will most certainly be planning another trip as soon as our schedule allows. The fact we had to check out to return to work on Monday

Our unit had everything we needed and a lovely outdoor area which we enjoyed even though it was winter

There still seemed to be a lot of information and signage related to the omicron outbreak and it is reasonable to request face masks being worn in the office, but stating not to go to the office if there were any issues but to use the room phone instead seemed a little over the top

Neighbors not that we had any problems, just the fact that couples should have areas away from families with young children. We left ours to be child free
