This was probably our favorite stay of our entire 10-day trip in Iceland! Me, my husband and my kids (11 and 8 years old) loved this house. It was basically a "tiny house", but somehow they fit a kitchen, bathroom, living room, 2 bedrooms, and a loft into the space. My 8-year-old loved hanging out and sleeping in the loft - it was her own little personal hideaway. We also loved having our own hot tub. We relaxed in the hot tub, watching the summer set for hours over the beautiful landscape of rolling hills, Icelandic horses and waterfalls. I didn't want to leave this place and am looking for another opportunity to come back!

This place is wonderful. Convenient position, nice view, and an excellent hothub. The service is also nice.

My husband enjoyed the outside hot tub.

The window coverings were not adequate to block the all night sun.

it was very easy to collect the keys, the keys were waiting as the host described they would be. The hot tub was wonderful after a long journey. The cottage is small but caters for all your needs

It would be lovely to have a map of the property so that we guests know where they can walk on the property.

Cozy, very modern and clean cottage perfectly located between Godafoss, Husavik and Myvatn. We had quite a few amazing northern light shows here. Can't wait to come back!

Everything was perfect!

Very clean, comfortable and cosy with everything you need. Amazing views of waterfalls and horses in field. Wonderful hot tub which fills itself with fresh hot water. Good location on ring road.

I liked everything

Decent price for the North, which is generally quite expensive; this was a relatively quiet location to stay in and only 10 minutes away from Gullfoss, around 30 mins from Myvatn. Comfortable cottage with all the amenities. Easy to pick up the keys and drop them off at the reception. I can imagine this would have been a fantastic location to see the Northern Lights in the right weather.

Two single beds rather than one double bed, but I understand this allows you to be more flexible. No extractor fan for kitchen Wish we could have tried the hot tub, but it was literally raining from 5pm until 8am the following day with a weather warning, so it wasn't possible unfortunately.

Well appointed and comfortable cottage with a private hot tub and everything needed for preparing meals. Beautiful rural setting. Very clean and well designed space! Great place to use as a base for visiting Myvatn area!

Very nice location. We saw the northen lights. Very cosy and remote. Nothing but silence. The hot tub is so nice after a long walk. Very friendly host

I wish the windows had screens, it was either quite stuffy or there were a lot of flies. The couch had seen better days, to be sure

Property is very central to Akureyri and Myvatn and Husavik - really god hub to travel in various direction Good new grill and hot tube that we did not use unfortunately since both evenings we stayed there we did visit nature baths in Myvatn and Husavik
