Great location & friendly staff

We were quite disappointed with this place and it was our worse stay out of our 9 hotels/ guesthouses that we stayed at in Iceland. The soundproofing of the rooms was horrible. The guesthouse also smelt strange. Although check out was at 10.30, cleaning staff started cleaning at 9 which was loud and we felt like we were in their way. It wasn’t a friendly feeling and we also heard them talk badly about previous guest whilst cleaning. For the price we paid, we had expected higher quality.

The room radiators worked and were warm. It was a lovely cosy house with a homely feel. Hospitality tray on the landing excellent.

We stayed one night, wonderful accommodation for whale watching! Excellent food just nearby, friendly staff. Perfect.

The free wifi was very unusable and disconnected constantly even when using very little data. I ended up using a hotspot from my phone. The accomidation is missing a comfortable desk area for working on the computer.

The rooms were very nice and big. The shared bathrooms were clean and enough available to share with other people. The breakfast was phenomanal, fresh baked cookies, brownies and warm croissants. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

The accommodation was always clean and tidy and well stocked. The beds were warm and comfortable and very private. The hosts were amazing and only too happy to give advice and local knowledge. They went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect in every way. We honestly felt like we were staying with friends instead of being paying guests. We will definitely be visiting again.

Good location, clean room, nice staff. Escpecially it was very nice to take a morning walking that cosy park is just next to the guesthouse.

You have to call or message when you arrive the guesthouse that there is no doorbell and the door is always looked. If the staff is outside the house, you have to wait outside to check in until the staff arrives.

It’s hard to say what I enjoyed the most. The room was cute and comfortable, I got amazing sleep, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the location was perfect. It stormed while I was there and staying indoors was so cozy and relaxing. I have never stayed anywhere more peaceful. I even caught a glimpse of the auroras from my room when the storm passed!
