very cosy and welcoming, a typical b&b in a village, lovely fresh breakfast and nice tea tray in the bedroom, extremely clean, comfy bed, would highly recommend.

Wortley Cottage Guest House was an enjoyable place to stay. Tony and Su were quite a pleasure to talk with. Breakfast was great. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. All together, we would highly recommend it.

I never received breakfast but i think it because i arrived late and when i returned from the christmas do i saw a form to complete but it was too late. Had to purchase a breakfaast from the cafe next door.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming .
We loved the accomodation and the property itself has many interesting features .
The cottage is over 200 years old , so has a mix of modern facilities ie, bathroom whilst maintaining a certain charm.
We enjoyed our stay .
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Location was very good and right on the route I was walking, its also spot on route for the Trans Pennie route either walking or cycling. Very good friendly service and the breakfast was very good. A very enjoyable stay.

We received a warm welcome, and promptly showed to our room. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable, en suite spotlessly clean, and refreshment tray well stocked. The guesthouse had a warm and friendly atmosphere and it felt homely. There was even a refrigerator for guests use, on the landing with fresh milk

I was made to feel very welcome when I arrived at Wortley Guest House and my room was clean neat and tidy. I was impressed with the service. My breakfast was well cooked with plenty of toast and jam available, I was offered more tea if I wanted very pleased with my stay.

The couple running the place are lovely. The location is stunning and the property is quintessentially English. It’s just a lovely lovely B&B.
I’m used to an Aqualisa Shower which even a normal shower is a very powerful shower.
Nitpicking I know but once you have an Aqualisa shower nothing else will do 😁
