From the beginning, great service from airport to the resort. I loved the location. I loved the clear water, I love the peacefulness. I love this little island.
All-inclusive not really. Extra charge for wine and beer. Snacks, like a small bag of chips will cost you. Game room and games not as described.

This is one of the most beautiful locations you'll ever find! Gorgeous aquamarine blue waters stretches out onto the horizon, and it's only a few feet deep so you can kayak far out into it without any concerns. The island operator Milly is as genuine and helpful as you can ask for. She seriously cares about the people who find Shaka and constantly goes the extra mile.
I should have stayed longer!

The location was amazing, being on a private Island with limited guest is relaxing. Not too much going on if you prefer the quite vibe. I did... The chef cooked food that we prepared ourselves for us, then we shared it with the staff (I was told Kelly really enjoyed it...LOL) The staff was very very friendly, and they try their best to accommodate you. Carmen, Kelly, Ana, the boat guy... all lovely people. Endless snacks in the fridge for you to enjoy. They spray for mosquitos daily at 6:00pm to 6:15pm #quite/chill/shower- time... Go in your room close all shutters, doors, and relax. while they spray, and it actually works, I did not have to use "Off" not once. The food is good. The Island is cool, for me they could use more nighttime outdoor colorful lights to bring a little excitement to the island, but it was still cool. Oh, and there is hot water... Would I return? Absolutely... #ITSAVIBE
The WIFI was not so great. It went in and out all-day, if you are working via online, I wouldn't suggest you stay on this Island. The boat rides provided by Royal Palm to other Islands are pretty expensive. I would try to get a number from someone inland for water taxis for a better price. Acholic drinks are not included. If staying in the honeymoon suite there isn't a good breeze over there for some reason, with all the windows open and the doors, it's still no breeze, and no microwave. (But I loved the privacy in the honeymoon suite)

Wood cabin in front of the ocean. Morning sunrise, incredible view, private beach. Select menu including filet mignon, lobster, etc. or cook to order if you feel you do not like what is being ordered.
Staff is there to assist you anytime in whatever you may need. Carmen, Roddy, Kelly, Chef Alex, and the rest.
Peace and quiet to the 10th power.
Kayaking, snorkeling, sun bathing, swimming, what else do you need.
No clubs, no noice.

We stayed in this beautiful resort for 7 days . The first part of the week we were all alone which was perfect. All the villages have the most impressive ocean view and access just as you open the windows . They are well maintained and clean. And the staff were the most attentive we have ever met. They helped us planning going lion fish hunting, snorkeling, diving, in lands tour etc. They picked us from the airport and dropped us off. It is even more beautiful than the pictures.
Nothing. I loved that it was not a big fancy resort or building. I loved it was small , quite , thought and planned with loved . We choose this one over the most expensive in an island close by , and we loved our decision, since this one was more secluded and quite. We were never at maximum capacity, and the resort is the only hotel in the island . Food can be better but with all inclusive we just didn’t care . We Spent all the time in the turquoise waters.

Lovely small island in the middle of the beautiful carribean sea. Plenty of kayak and SUP available free of charge. Lovely cottages with direct beach access!
If you wanted to complain about something it’s the coffee that didn’t taste at all. Otherwise lovely place!

The hospitality is top-notch! A driver was waiting for us just outside customs at the airport. He allowed us to stop at a grocery store to buy snacks and supplies before boarding the boat to the island. At the little marina, Sherlyn (the resort manager) greeted us. During the 25-minute boat ride, she explained how the check-in process would go, told us about the meals and talked about things to do on the island. We saw 3 dolphins playing in the water about 2 feet from the boat!
Once on the island, the staff took our bags to our cottage while we enjoyed a beautiful tropical drink under the tiki bar.
During our entire stay, the staff was always present to assist but never bothersome or hovering. They gave us our privacy but were always ready to help when we needed something.
The massage therapist was amazing and worth the extra expense. My husband and I both enjoyed the deep-tissue massage.
The colors of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. I quickly found my place on a beach chair with a good book and didn't leave until it was dark.
This is not a touristy, busy resort. It's completely peaceful and relaxing. If you want fancy pools, entertainment and night life, this isn't the resort for you. If you want lots calm and quiet with the most amazing views imaginable and stellar customer service, this is your place!
When it rains, there's very little to do. We had downloaded movies to our iPad but other than that, there's not much to do if the weather doesn't cooperate. The wifi only worked for a short period of time during our 4-night stay. (The staff was working to get it repaired and apologized that it was not more accessible; I think this outage was due to weather and isn't a usual occurrence.) The activity/game room has a large TV and a small collection of DVDs. The DirecTV service didn't work so we missed Sunday football games but my husband survived.
The king beds are actually 2 twin beds. This didn't bother us, but may be uncomfortable for a family if a child was sleeping with the parents. The beds are very firm but they happily provided a mattress pad the second day upon my request.

There’s a small number of guests and a small number of staff, this resulted in a very personal feel. The staff were kind, dedicated, and happy to accommodate special requests.
When I saw the resort was located on an island I was concerned it would be difficult to reach. However, the resort had a driver waiting for us at the airport and the total time from the airport to our room was 35 minutes. Even though the resort is such a short trip from the city, the views made us feel as though we were totally secluded- it was nothing short incredible.
The bed Wasn’t very comfortable- bit too firm and you could feel the springs. I think a decent topper would take care of this but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Also, it would be nice to have WiFi in the rooms. It’s great to unplug and enjoy the island but we would have liked access to internet for music.

Staff were amazing and always helpful. The property was beautiful. We felt like we were being treated like celebrities!
