I loved my time at Chez Manany! The property is beautiful! It's walking distance to the harbor where all the tours/ferries leave from. It's also walking-distance to an amazing free snorkeling spot. There was no AC but we didn't need it. We were very comfortable. The wifi was fast too. Martha didn't speak English, but we were able to communicate via translator apps, and the owners reached out to let me know they'd be able to help if needed. Martha was SO NICE and accommodating. It was a 15 minute walk to town where the restaurants are. We paid to rent bikes in town since one of the bikes at Chez Manany was out of order. Would recommend, and would stay here again.

Beautiful accommodation and kind host who made sure we had everything we needed!

The house is originally designed and very nice. The host, Manany, is very helpful and provided useful information about the house, Puerto Villamil, and activities at Isabela. She grows various plants for tea and for treating sunburns, and offers them to guests (we used aloe vera for sunburns). The two bicycles can be used by guests for short trips to the center of the city for shopping or lunch (the center with all the shops and restaurants is about 10-15 min walking distance). The house is located very close (5 min walk) to a nice swimming/snorkeling area Concha de Perla. The view from balconies (with comfortable hammocks) on a mangrove forest is beautiful.

Mosquitos were able to get to the suite through small gaps in windows and the entrance door. Spraying the bedrooms by an anti-mosquito spray helped to kill most of them. Wi-Fi was weak or sometime non-existent, but this was not a big issue as we enjoyed being disconnected from the world at Isabela.

absolutely fabulous! large, clean, many windows (with mosquito net), balconies, fully equipped kitchen, two perfect bathrooms with properly working showers, close to the harbour and the best snorkelling near the village, two bicycles to go shopping „down town“… really nice and modern. we stayed much longer than initially planned and would return again and again.

Location is just outside the city and near pier which is a good thing since it is quiet and close to Concha Perla beach for snorkling. our host Manany was really helpful and made us feel welcome.

Chez Manany is a peaceful, calm, comfortable place to stay in Isabella. We loved having a kitchen with everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and cocktails! It's a short walk to the pier where we set out for excursions and also arrived/departed on the ferry. The architecture is amazing with every part of the beautifully designed apartment made with care. Martha met us and gave us an overview of the place, then checked in with us daily. The owner also checked in via text and phone and gave us recommendations for places to eat, excursions, and confirmed our ferries to arrive/depart. The highlight of our trip was the Tuneles snorkle. Amazing to swim with manta rays, sharks, turtles, sea lions.

A heads up the wifi in the Galapagos is weak at best. This was a plus for us....just unplug and enjoy the magical islands.
