The room itself was a nice size, good view and it was very clean. Decent bed and bunk beds. Bathroom was clean and a good size.

Family room on the top floor. Electrics went on the first morning we were there, and only temporarily fixed and then went again. We needed to have my sons phone charged and were unable to, ended up leaving really early on the Sunday due to this

Nothing absolutely disgusting

Place was filthy,nobody else in building,no staff, no bedding or towels changed during visit no heating on the pictures are from the bathroom wife rung the office bell for 15 minutes to no reply she had to walk from front of building down the street to get to her car round back,as she couldn't open back door which was a fire hazard,place needs closing down.

Great place to stay and the location was ideally situated close to the beach, bars and the town. Great priced rooms to suit our budget. Room was clean and comfortable. Will stay there again.

Only criticism would be that there was no one in reception area but there was a bell to ring if we needed anything.

Didn’t like not seeing the owners on last day. And some of the residents having a few issues, swearing whilst young children in hotel. Overall good hotel

Parking was ok

Carpet stained, toilet stained, curtains hanging off hooks. Not enough towels, had to ask for toiletries, ie soaps, shower gels.

The Kenton is a very clean and tidy hotel, idealy situated and well kept. The staff were amazingly freindly and helpful they couldnt have been more helpful they are an asset to the hotel.

only negative is the 6 flights of stairs to climb but this is not a hotel problem its my fitness, or lack of it lol

No breakfast even though it shows it on photos and mentions continental Some of the lights didn’t work in bathroom Toilet was loose No mattress protectors Tear in top of duvet cover Staff weren’t very approachable and seemed to spend all day drinking. We were told where our room was and wasn’t shown Rubbish buy the bins out the back Toilet roll holder was broken

Excellent location to access Scarborough and right near the beach. Parking in private car park was great. Owners were friendly and nice greeting on arrival.

Single glazed window and could hear everything o main road outside as if the window was open. No black out curtains/blinds so room very light due to street lighting and at sunrise. Thin walls and woken abruptly from sleep for 2 of 3 nights despite having to wear ear plugs due to street noise. People shouting first night ‘get out of my house’ and could hear altercation early hours of the morning. Woken 2am Friday and Saturday night by ? Other guests laughing, talking very loudly, banging door. No respect for other guests. Shower very poor flow, water dripping. Reported to owner but nothing changed as a result. The place is a bit run down, Shame as nice big room/building with character but out of date decor and furniture tired. Bed not very comfortable. Really disappointed and paid £400 for stay and expected a lot more. Won’t be returning. Shame as really thought it would be great based on reviews and not usually a couple who complain as every other place we’ve stayed has met our expectations.

this Hotel had no record of our booking and we had to go elsewhere. They had not picked up our message of the day before about our time oif arrival. Obviously did not look at messages and did not answer phoneEverything
