Location fairly good, almost a mile out of Settle. Evening meal food was very good.
The basic fabric of the hotel rooms was not good - very thin walls and floors/ceilings. On the ground floor, every squeal and noise from the 1st floor was audible, and being near the access door, was quite noisy. A very cheaply made extension I think. It needs knocking down and doing properly.
Sunday breakfast had great intentions, but the "black pig" sausage & black pudding were not up to scratch.

Pleasant staff, nice and clean place, well kept, well stocked bar, delicious breakfast, great food in the evening, comfy bed, lovely shower. Good size car park.
They didn't have lemon or lime sorbet. And if that is all I can say I didn't like, I think the place was outstanding!

Very pleasant and well trained staff. Excellent food at reasonable prices from a far more imaginative menu than is found in most pubs. Excellent cleanliness in bedrooms and throughout. Good value.
Inn is situated on the A65 trunk road and rooms facing this suffer traffic noise. Worst affected is Room 5 which is no doubt why it is the cheapest.

The breakfasts were excellent , as was the evening meal we had on our first night. Never had food served as hot in my life which for me is a massive bonus. The staff were incredibly efficient and very friendly
Very tiny point but the road outside is very noisy & it is a bit further from settle than we thought, but it was lovely

Easy to find, park and check in. The staff are very helpful & friendly. Their pub has a great atmosphere, I travel alone a lot for work so these things are top of my list. However the restaurant was my biggest surprise, my dinner has moved into, top 5 of my lifetime. absolutely cooked and plated to perfection. I will be back for sure and can not recommend eating there highly enough.
Light gets into the room, but I had my sleep mask with me I still managed to get a good nights sleep.

Lovely, decent-sized, clean room with rustic view. Excellent food and service for evening meal. Good espresso coffee for breakfast — that’s rare and highly valued.
