The spaciousness. The position. There was always plenty of hot water.

Furnishings ie dining set, tv cabinet and sofas are all looking tired and could do with replacing. It definitely needs a bigger toaster. The one provided would not even accept a medium slice of bread. There would not have been enough glasses or crockery for four people.

Location was excellent Apartment was a great size and modern Once the heating had been on 24 hours the apartment was warm and cozy (pity that wasn't organised for our arrival) Didn't cook whilst we were there, so cannot comment on kitchen facilities Shower was great It was soundproof, although in the centre of Settle nothing woke us in the morning... ie traffic, car doors, noise in general

It was freezing cold when we arrived at 3.30pm room temperature @ 10 degrees in every room. The stairwell to the apartment was warmer than the apartment. The main bedroom was spacious and light with plenty of room but could have done with a dressing table to sit at to be able to put make up on/blow dry hair etc On arrival we were only left half a toilet roll for 2 people for 2 nights, which we mentioned to the hosts along with the temperature of the apartment asking for any ideas of how to get the apartment warmer quicker. We had to stay out of the apartment as long as possible until it had warmed up and it was still only 15 degrees at 11pm at night, so we went to bed to get warm. The toilet paper situation was resolved but there was no apology from the hosts or a solution to the cold apartment issue, which we kept them informed about with no reply. We had a lovely stay in the apartment for 2 nights, marred by the fact that there was no heating until the next day, sitting in big coats and hats and a blanket I had brought until we went to bed was not the start we expected to our weekend away. We stayed out of the apartment as long as we could on the first night as it was sooo cold, which was not our original plan.

Fantastic big bath beautiful for a relax after a long walk

Cracked tiles that move in the kitchen, lucky nobody’s cut their foot on them yet. They knew we were a family of 4, in a self catering apartment but there were only 3 plates, maybe need a little attention to detail.

The accommodation exceeded all my expectations

Great break - nothing not to like .Would wholeheartedly recommend
