The spaciousness. The position. There was always plenty of hot water.
Furnishings ie dining set, tv cabinet and sofas are all looking tired and could do with replacing. It definitely needs a bigger toaster. The one provided would not even accept a medium slice of bread. There would not have been enough glasses or crockery for four people.

Apartment was a great size and modern
Once the heating had been on 24 hours the apartment was warm and cozy (pity that wasn't organised for our arrival)
Didn't cook whilst we were there, so cannot comment on kitchen facilities
Shower was great
It was soundproof, although in the centre of Settle nothing woke us in the morning... ie traffic, car doors, noise in general
It was freezing cold when we arrived at 3.30pm room temperature @ 10 degrees in every room. The stairwell to the apartment was warmer than the apartment.
The main bedroom was spacious and light with plenty of room but could have done with a dressing table to sit at to be able to put make up on/blow dry hair etc
On arrival we were only left half a toilet roll for 2 people for 2 nights, which we mentioned to the hosts along with the temperature of the apartment asking for any ideas of how to get the apartment warmer quicker. We had to stay out of the apartment as long as possible until it had warmed up and it was still only 15 degrees at 11pm at night, so we went to bed to get warm. The toilet paper situation was resolved but there was no apology from the hosts or a solution to the cold apartment issue, which we kept them informed about with no reply.
We had a lovely stay in the apartment for 2 nights, marred by the fact that there was no heating until the next day, sitting in big coats and hats and a blanket I had brought until we went to bed was not the start we expected to our weekend away.
We stayed out of the apartment as long as we could on the first night as it was sooo cold, which was not our original plan.

Fantastic big bath beautiful for a relax after a long walk
Cracked tiles that move in the kitchen, lucky nobody’s cut their foot on them yet.
They knew we were a family of 4, in a self catering apartment but there were only 3 plates, maybe need a little attention to detail.

Great location/spacious
The sofa bed was difficult to get out, no instructions with it. I let them know in advance of the numbers, so would have preferred it set up for us. I think it may be a bit broken, as it should be easier than it is to pull out. The mattress also had several stains on it and only one pillow case.

plates and glasses dirty with food and lipstick. kitchen bench not cleaned. only a handful of water / juice glasses in cupboards, no wine glasses? no knife block, only 1 sharp knife. All 3 of us were scalded several times in the shower each morning for no reason. no mirror in the single bedroom to dry your hair.
this could be a fantastic flat if basic things were put right and damp patches in bathroom ceiling/wear and tear on kitchen walls etc we’re redecorated

Wi-Fi password didn’t work and tv would only play bbc 1.
Had issues with shower/drainage so potentially couldn’t use shower, but landlord rectified whilst out thankfully.

It's a great location in the centre of Settle, probably best suited to a shorter stay (given the level of equipment in the kitchen) unless you are happy eating out most nights. Overall the apartment is comfortable, furniture is minimalist, it looks like it has all been set up for easy maintenance.
There was a problem with the heating which had a major impact on our 3-night stay in (cold) February. We ended up going out in the evenings just to get some warmth, made booking a self-catering largely pointless.
Despite numerous messages to the owners they failed to take any action to help, provision of a heater for the living room would have been appreciated.
From the day we left they stopped replying to our messages, ended up having to raise it with Booking.com directly.
For them not to know the heating wasn't working (it didn't just fail as we arrived) suggests this property is not managed that well.

Central location, comfort and quiet
Disappointed with fixtures in the bathroom. Towel rail off wall and lent against the wall. Showerhead bracket top point has come away. It is a shame general maintenance isn't done!

Fabulous apartment, loads of space, great facilities, amazing location, bath like a swimming pool (perfect for soaking aching muscles after a day walking!) Loved our stay ❤️

Good location, the rooms are spacious, equipped, clean.
We had no hot water for half of the stay which was not ideal upon returning to the apartment after a day completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks in winter. The wifi didn’t work very well. The bed felt very small

It was clean and stylish. It was far bigger than I expected and was perfect for our family of five. Situated in a lovely quiet village.
