Houses are really great and it is really great to hear birds singing all time. common Spaces near swimming pool are very nice.

Gardening happening (noise) all day even on Sunday. Swimming pool was not the most suitable one for small kids. Host could be nicer. we felt that if we would do something wrong there would be a negative comment and this affected our stay.

- Every house in the farm is refurbished/reconstructed in a very tasteful way and with elements from the previous life of the farm. -Big Rooms and a very tasteful breakfast - A calm place ideal for a relax get away

Something that we cannot input the fault to the Accommodation, but there is a pig farm nearby and in one of the days when the wind was blowing in a certain direction it smelled. It was for only a few hours but worth to mention.

When you arrive at Quinta da Cabrita you’re immediately transported into a magically traditional Portuguese setting, from the preservation of the traditional architecture to the beautifully landscaped grounds. Our Ameixoeira cottage was very cosy and very well equipped with all the modern amenities you’d need. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Portuguese experience.

The house has extremely nice vibe. It is warm and clean with comfortable bed, cool design and lovely breakfast. The hoists are increadiably kind and flexible. We were impressed with their efford to be helpful. We wish we could of have stayed there longer.

The staff and the location were lovely. The room was outstanding and I have never felt so relaxed on a work trip. The facilities were excellent and I just wished i'd stayed for a few more days.

What a great stay we had at Lita's ! The house was fully equipped and very clean , comfortable beds and good pillows. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is brought to your house every morning. You do need a car to travel around the area and visit places. Santarem at 10 minutes drive , we loved the not so known city and we visited great restaurants ; try Does Petiscos and certainly Patio da Graça (our favorite ! ) Thanks you Lita for your warm hart and good humor ! :-) we will not forget our stay with you Love , Andrei & Anne

The place itself was well organised and maintained. It was a calm area and the house was clean.

We were disappointed with several things. First we could not find (Google maps) the Quinta with the address provided in their page here in Booking.com. Then we called the number provided in their page as well to ask for direction and no one answered or called back. Then we had to ring the bell 5 times in a space of 5min before someone finally opened the gate for us to enter. We were then presented with a rather unhappy and non-people oriented host/receptionist who required from myself and my partner a covid vaccionation passport AND a negative test result done in the moment before we could enter. Then the room was not ready and we had to wait for the host/receptionist to bring the towels and fire wood for the fire place. In the room/house we found that there was a coffee machine and coffee, BUT NO sugar or tea of any kind. Strange for a rather expensive place. After a quick look around we understood that although the place was "fancy", the things around were old. There was a bath in our mezzanine, although there was a massive crack with visible rust in one corner and peeling paint in the other corner. Few things could be noticed in other parts of the house like a cd player which only had one speaker working and the buttons were non-responsive. All the wooden furniture was rather old as well. Next day we got the breakfast, and althoug it was good, this felt more like a morning military ration - one small bread, one slice of cheese, one slice of ham, one small cup of juice, one cup of coffee... If we would want something more like eggs, we would need to pay extra. Again, suprising in my opinion. This was our third night in a row in "Turismo Rural", and the most expensive one (actually double the price from the previous ones), and we felt less welcomed in every sense. Price is not always a good measure. As I said to my partner when we left - "would have been better to stay where we were 2 days ago.
