The staff at Musket Cove are absolutely amazing and do a great job of making their resort feel like home. I would specifically like to thank Mere who was so, so sweet to us. It is a beautiful resort and we would highly recommend!

Amazing location, beautiful rooms and tranquil atmosphere. Some really good activities and day trips from the island
The food was sometimes a bit hit or miss. Some meals were amazing (like the Sunday roast) but others were a bit bland.
4.0
Close to the water
Resort is dating very fast.
Could have been cleaner.
Limited food and beverage options.
Lot’s of flys hanging around especially the food.
Every pathway is sand.

Staf, location, everything.
Food variety, my kids got stomach sickness, maybe had nothing to do with the food, maybe it did. Food was good, it could use more kids activities.

Good range of good food
Friendly staff
Nice atmosphere
Happy as it was

Excellent location in respect to the international airport. Island location but easy transfers from and to the airport.
Friendly informal atmosphere and not crowded even at capacity. Plenty of options for activities to amuse yourself on and around the resort.
Nothing really.. check out might be a little more convenient if it was 11am and not 10am
9.0
Rustic feel and well kept. Low numbers of clients relative to space available. Beautiful gardens and lawns surrounding the lodgings but not manicured. Full of activity and a working service centre for boats passing through. A real lay-back atmosphere and a variety of options for lodgings and packages. Excellent staff and service. Not a high activity resort for kids. Close to plenty of other island connections.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. We were an adult family of 4 and it fitted us well. The only thing I would say is that I think the cost of the ferry is a little on the high side

The staff at Musket Cove were amazing, they all went above and beyond and were so friendly. The atmosphere and gardens were so beautiful and relaxing, the walk to our bure was very magical! The food was very very good with a great selection and very fresh and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were very big! The cocktail bure was a lot of fun and it was really interesting meeting boaties and other families having fun. Our room was beautiful and very spacious, it was kept very well clean and well equipt. The bathrooms were immaculately clean. They offer a really great range of activities free of charge (snorkeling, coconut demonstration, basket weaving, kayaks, paddle boards) which we made the most of.
Musket Cove was the most expensive part of our holiday. Some parts of the resort were quite tired for the money being spent (cracked and missing tiles by the pool etc) but the staff, atmosphere and food more than made up for it.

If you want a relaxing holiday where staff will bring you endless cocktails by the pool this is the place for you. A tranquil part of Fiji where each room feels like its own secluded resort. Staff are so friendly and the activities are abundant. Whether you want to snorkel the reefs, island hop, paddle board along the ocean front or learn how to weave your very own basket, Musket Cove has it all. The food is plentiful and absolutely delicious. We really did not want to leave and return to reality.

The location is paradise, the staff are kind and nice, the food was really good.
Maybe they should have more vegetarian option for lunch . But the dinner was great

staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, making last minute adjustments to help accommodate us due to a recent injury so we didn’t have to walk very far to the facilities. our room was clean and comfortable. the pool and beach were clean and well equipped with chairs and lounges. the food was good too.

nothing not to like, staff are so friendly and helpful if you need anything

Our room was superb (beach front burr). Really spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with all the facilities we needed. Fresh ground coffee with the tea making tray and homemade biscuits every day was a highlight! The air con was efficient and the simple design of the rooms was delightful. The room attendant was charming and obviously good at her job.
We had a private veranda with armchairs, sun loungers and a hammock all right outside and overlooking the cove.
The staff in the main restaurant were super: both friendly and helpful.
We had drinks at the island bar which was nice and we particularly rated the young woman that was running the bar on both occasions we visited. She was a good hostess and offered information about the resort etc as well as making good cocktails!
The sand bar where the resort take you for the free snorkelling was fabulous - a huge variety of fish to see in the shallows.
We had an all inclusive food package and the food quality was imo really sub standard for the quality of the venue. At breakfast it seemed as though they had cooked enough for all the guests and then left it on the Bain Marie’s to stew. Soggy, wet cabbage of some sort, next to congealed omelette and poor quality sausages was off putting. There was however an egg station where you could order fresh eggs of your choice. There were two choices of where to eat on the inclusive package - one restaurant and a cafe, both with plastic chairs and tables and it felt cheap, rather than luxurious. The cafe was very disorganised and messy. We had a la carte menu one evening and the food was mediocre.
The free snorkelling trips were mostly fully booked due to their not being sufficient snorkels. They were most keen for us to book on the paid trip which seemed to have snorkels available (‘?!). Fortunately, having been previously advised, we had taken our own snorkels and masks and they lent us flippers and added us to the boat. It seemed there were only 15 people in total on each trip.

not much to like. the money you pay is way too expensive for what you get. we were told that insurance would pay for first night at resort as they made an error/ lie, saying we could not get to the island on the first night due to taxi not available ( really?) we had to pay for a hotel in Nadi and the first night at resort claimed insurance would cover it. How can medical insurance cover that? it was very poorly facilitated. I injured my knee and elbow badly because I tripped on broken concrete path. I hobbled to reception and they took me to a “Nurse” who dressed it and although I recommended Anti-biotic and she said yes and she forgot to give it to me. NO APOLOGY AT ALL AND I AM THINKING OF TAKING THIS MATTER FURTHER.
I injured myself on bad cracked concrete with no apology. It is the worst holiday ever

Quiet paradise, staff were all helpful and very nice! Food at the restaurants were also delicious and it’s obvious a lot of work and thought goes into it to keep guests excited for meal times.
The facilities might have been a bit old, the air conditioner remote would not work and we lived in an icy room for the last two days of our stay while it was pouring outside. The bathroom door was broken and two out of three lights in the bathroom did not turn on. The staff tried to assist us as much as they could and we are very grateful.
A small bit of advice is to run some indoor activities for the rainy season for guests as almost all the activities were cancelled during our stay due to rain and we ran out of things to do so it was quite boring :(

The Villa and location of our villa was beautiful. The water activities were great.
The food, only option for dinner in the restaurant was buffet, we would have preferred a restaurant menu.

The pre-paid meals were awesome - our adult children loved the buffet! The pool and the beach were great. Lots of activities available. Snorkelling, sailing, SUP, Kayak, fishing were all great. Staff were friendly.
The wifi is only available in the public areas and even then it is variable (drops off all the time). We had a pair of slides and some sunglasses go missing which was disappointing. Would have been nice if complimentary tea / coffee / juice was available during lunch and dinner and not just breakfast given the price you pay for the all-included meals.

The meals were amazing and plenty of options for our family of 4 adults (including a daughter who is gluten-free). Great to see lots of salads and the fresh fish/seafood was a highlight. We enjoyed many cocktails at the Island Bar and gorgeous sunsets on the beach. A great choice for our family now that our children are young adults.
Nothing could have been better; the food, staff, activities, accommodation and ambience were perfect for us to relax and unwind after a tough few years. The only think we didn't like - was having to leave!

We loved our Beachfront Bure! Having direct access to the beach and our own hammock and chairs made it really relaxing. Everything was great food wise. Enjoyed a fair few meals at Dicks! Also loved the complimentary snorkelling and the afternoon one (paid). Such a great experience!
Would be good to have insect spray in the room/ incense at night as there were a few bugs but problem was solved when we closed all shutters.
