Proximity to beach and cable-car to downtown Taormina.

When I arrived I was greeted by a bottle of rose on the table and a bottle of water in the fridge. Little touches like this are so important. When ever I texted the hosts they replied with in minutes. They couldn't have been more helpful.

The building is a by a road, so a little noisy, but there's nothing that the hosts can do about that.

Stefano was very friendly and made check in easy - even when we were late. Appartement location just by the beach, shop and restaurants is ideal, and also just by the cable car to central Taormina. Apartment is spacious, modern, clean with all conveniences.

the mattress and pillows were terrible, needs changing, shower in bathroom not good and fell down all the time. water was only hot for an hour

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable apartment with all needed amenities. The host, Umberto, has exceeded our expectations… We knew from previous comments that he was very nice and helpful, but in decades of traveling I didn’t meet such a nice, helpful and generous person! I can’t say enough words of thanks for his help in various fields… Don’t miss to ask him for recommendations on restaurants and pretty much everything! Thank you very much Umberto, you were one the hidden gems of out trip!

Spacious apartment which was clean and very near the beach and the cable car. Umberto was an attentive host who had clearly taken covid precautions seriously.

There was road noise while sitting on the front terrace. I suppose that's the price you pay for being right on the beach road.

Umberto and his brother are very hospitable and very nice hosts. We were very well looked after and treated with fruits, homemade limoncello, ice-cream and many other tiny but important details. The apartment has all that one can need and if you don't - Umberto is quick to fix it. We really enjoyed both terraces at different times of the day. The apartment is spacious, well light, with new AC units, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. It is very close to Funicular that takes you to Taormina and very close to several beaches. We had an amazing vacation and rested very well there, so we highly recommend to stay at Verde Umberto.

It is close to the main road so at times it can be noisy, but all the trees and flowers in the terrace and sea view help to ignore it and even forget about it.
