Big apartment in the center of the villa. Very close to the station.

We didn’t see anybody. Although the staff is very helpful via messages.

The place was nice and confortable. Really clean and with nice accommodations (especially the shower :)). Staff was always friendly and quick to answer our questions. And the price is super good for the quality and location.

If u have heavy suitcases or bags the better ask for room on the ground floor or 1st floor as Japan lokes to call it coz there is no lift/elevetor. An electric rice cooker would be a perfect addition.

The location was great. The space in the unit was so comfortable for 4 people. We were able to cook breakfast in the morning. The shower was amazing. The beds were very very comfortable. The staff was very helpful whenever we had problems. Def a great stay here in Takayama.

Very clean, very close to center. Easy check in and check out, good AC for heating and cooling. Laundromat downstairs though i never understood if there was detergent or not; the info translates as "automatic injection", but it really doesnt feel or smell like detergent was used, or maybe i'm not used to japanese detergent

I'll never understand this thing where you never get to meet the people who host you. When did tourism become so cold and impersonal? Apartment very small for a family of 4 with some luggage, we took turns sitting in the kitchen

The check-in process was easy and quick. The beds were really comfortable and the location is accessible. A 5 minute walk from the station and the bus terminal. There were restaurants and a convenience store nearby. The caretaker/host was really friendly and accommodating and it was a great overnight stay.

Budget friendly and the staffs are responsive, the hotel is close to train station and convenience stores.

It wasn’t very clean

The property has a great location, within easy walking distance of the station for those arriving by train and also within walking distance of the sights of Takayama. Shops and restaurants are a short walk away, right outside the door really. The apartment is perfect for a small family, and was warm and comfortable in snowy conditions. The owner and manager were very helpful at all times, including help with arranging a tour to Shirakawa-go. The access to cheap and convenient washing was much appreciated.

I can't think of many things. It is an apartment rather than a hotel room, so be prepared to bring your own supplies. The apartment is not particularly homely, if that is important to you. The dividing wall between bedrooms is a sliding door, so privacy is not guaranteed. Really, these were minor issues, and not really complaints or negatives for us.

This is a small 2 bedroom apartment which suited our needs very well. It is very well located to attractions and other facilities in Takayama, yet reasonably close to the station. Access is by keypad code, provided by email prior to occupation. Otherwise, we had no direct contact with staff. We would be happy to stay there again.

With no direct contact with staff, communication is important. However, responsiveness to email communication could be improved. The bedrooms were very well heated by reverse cycle A/C. However, inexplicably, the living area had no direct heating and thus relied on the heating from the bedrooms. This is a design fault in the newly constructed apartment and could be easily corrected.

The location was great. Flat comfortable.

There was an incident with parking, the manager gave us 2 spots to park on but apparently it belong to a neighbor. Police was called and the neighbor was very rude. Police didn’t do anything even though this man was yelling to me in Japanese I am sure bad things. The manager did help but also told me well parking here is a problem so the neighbor was rude but it’s understandable. I didn’t like how the situation was handled although the manager did help. For future don’t park in the assigned spots park in the restaurant spot. Also even though breakfast was included the restaurant was close the 2 morning we went to try to have breakfast and the hira beef bbq was over price and the quality of the meat wasn’t as expect with hira beef and the Thanyaporn restaurant.
