a nice hotel located in the very center of the city, 15 min walk from the Church of Christ the King and the Statue of Independence. A lot of pubs and shops nearby. Large, comfortable room, equipped with a fridge, microwave and electric kettle and efficient A/C. Tasty and plentiful breakfast, served in the open air. A small swimming pool in the garden. Friendly and helpful staff.

airport transfer offered by the hotel a bit too expensive (N$300 per person), better to take an uber for N$200. Very weak wifi, often drops the connection.

The location is near the Wernhill Mall and within walking distance to Christuskirche and the Independence Museum. The staff is nice and they try to find solutions for everything you need. The breakfast was nice, served by very kind ladies. I had vegetable omelette and it was tasty. Eating it outside in the shade was great. The room has a fridge and a water boiler. It’s a good place to crash for a night before and after a trip in the country.

It might not be everyone’s cup of tea as the rooms are old and would need some refurbishing. But as mentioned in the positive aspects, if you need to stay for one night on a lower budget, it’s ok. Unfortunately, despite the fact that I had requested a shuttle from the airport on my arrival, it was forgotten. This was unpleasant as it was my first time on the continent and I was travelling alone, so I feared I wouldn’t actually make it to my accommodation with just any taxi from the airport.
