It was a lovely, spotlessly clean room at a great price. Access to the kitchen was an unexpected bonus. I will probably want to stay again in the future now that I have found this place.
This wasn't the fault of the owner, but unfortunately another guest in the house when I was staying was rather loud until late, in fact he took a shower in the shared bathroom about 11:30 at night, then left wet, muddy footprints in the bathroom that I stepped in early in the morning. His tv and his talking was loud and easily heard in my room. If it weren't for this other guest, I am sure I would have rested quite well, as it is a peaceful location.

absolutely fantastic, exactly as advertised! very lovely and friendly host, though our french is terrible but you can tell! lovely bedroom with a very comfy bed. very nearby parking at the church. clean shared bathroom, it’s shared but not to worry as there are several :) good kitchen facilities, would stay again!

Lovely room, nice location, had everything I needed to make myself a meal. The owner was very nice to converse with. Bathroom a bit pokey but choice of them on different floors if one was engaged.

lovely facilities. use of a very well equipped kitchen. very nice proprietor with a great welcome. large common reception room - very comfortable and warm (we visited mid November)

The owner and host provided a friendly and outstanding service from start to finish. Breakfast was excellent and just what we needed. The location was great for us on motorbikes and ideal for a nice walk in the evening

Located in a most interesting village some of which back to 9th century. The auberge itself is comfortable but with limited en-suite facilities. The welcome and support are excellent.

The owner was friendly and accessible. The room was charming, quiet and well-furnished. It was a comfortable bed and there was a wash-basin and towels in the room. There were clean and well-equipped toilets and showers very near our room in a corridor; easy to access and we were not aware of noise from others. The location was quiet, in a very picturesque part of the old village, very near a lovely old church. There was easy, sheltered parking nearby.
We'd have preferred an ensuite toilet - but the price reflected that deficiency. It would be reassuring to be able to lock the bedroom door from the inside. It felt very safe and quiet, and we only glimpsed two other very quiet guests using the self-catering facilities downstairs, but we wondered how safe we'd have felt if there had been more, or noisier quests. If the proprietor were to fix a safety-chain on the door, in the absence of a lock, that would be reassuring to guests.
