The terrase and the view

Be aware that the house is terrible horror! All the rooms are smell like hell. The bed sheets linen are dirty and not washed for years. The entire house is dirty. Everything is so outdated and so uncomfortable. The bathroom is horror! Please notice that if you don’t have a small car the acces road to the house is by foot on a very small alley climbing on the mountain on stairs and you have to carry all you bagages on hand and you can have a heart attack! I advice you to avoid this accommodation and maybe pay a little extra and stay somewhere decent.

The location! This house has just an amazing location and the spacious balcony allows you to fully benefit from it. The last part of the journey whether by foot or car is part of the experience. The views over Camara de Lobos and on to Funchal are amazing. The front bedrooms allow you to enjoy sunrise from the comfort of the bed. You can actually pretty much see this house from the hills the other side of Funchal such is its spectacular location. Very hot and powerful shower. Good communication with host, especially as we booked on the day of arrival.

The kitchen is very dark, has little daylight but is well equipped and the bathroom is very cramped but these are minor issues.
