Staff is nice. The door is locked with a code locker so you’re free to come and go as you want.

There is just one bathroom with hot shower after sunset and there are in total 3 bathrooms for too many people. The charging point in my room was pretty far away from my bed so I should have left my phone there. I didn’t find it safe enough tbh!

It's pretty central and good price, but you get what you pay for. The staff are friendly and the entrance is with a code, which is great so you dont have to deal with keys.

The lower bunk bed is too small, you can't even sit down. The cleanliness could be improved.

This hostel is probably your best available option in Belo Horizonte. There were some great guys in this hostel, just know it's nearly completly Brazilians, you have to speak Portuguese! Rooms were fine, big high quality lockers and suitable bathrooms, at least when I was there. Area is super safe! Just make sure you get a cab from bus station, ubur sets location outside station! !

Lack of English, lack of backpacker vibes. But actually I ended up liking this aspect of the hostel, maybe its not suited to many backpackers. It's a super local hostel. They have a key deposit that must be collected before you leave, staff might not be available to return your deposit, make sure you check before checking out.

Cheap hostel but very noisy, not clean & no vibe. Wifi was very irregular so it was challenging to work. I asked by message before arriving what time I could arrive to enter within the hostel before checking-in & the person replied 7AM, I arrived at 6AM with my bus, waited 1h outside & then the boss arrived at 7AM & said it was not possible, I had to show him the message for him to « make an exception » when there is plenty of common space…

The staff were exceptionally nice, extremely welcoming and could speak multiple languages which was very helpful. The wifi connection was strong. The location was great. There is a communal area which has a lot of potential in the back, a bar, snooker table, chairs and a stage- but it hasn’t seemed to be used in a while.

Facilities were lacking - no lockers, 1 out of 3 bathrooms didn’t have a lock on the door, card machine didn’t work on arrival, only one socket per room for 4 people isn’t realistic. Cleanliness - bathrooms were not clean, there was no hand soap available in any bathrooms (concerning given the pandemic), bed linen had stains

I have booked aroomwith 4beds- in the end it was amich smaller roomwith 6 beds - same prize charged.It looked like the roomfor hostelemployees. 1 other person has snored soloud that there wasno sleeppossible..Not a singleemployee could speak English.

The location is great, near markets, bars, parks, and squares.

I was satisfied with the hostel, but a harassment case happened with one of the volunteers that was awfully handled, the owner was afraid to kick out the harasser because the guest was part of a contract with a company that involved other guests. It was terrible to see the volunteer and her friend (also a volunteer) crying in the shared room, having to share the common spaces with the harasser, hearing him and the male guests judging her "behind her back". Given that situation, I decided to leave the hostel with them.

The ambience of this place is great. Very easygoing, welcoming and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Great location with restaurants just outside and an art gallery and park a ten minute walk away. Great value for money. Would definitely come back.

I'm not a big fan of triple bunk beds but the value for money is brilliant.

the top bunkbed in the shared dorm was not super comfortable as there was no protection to keep you from falling on the floor if you turn around during the night 😂

Miguel the receptionist from Argentina , he was a super welcoming guy , a great host of the hostel .
