A fabulous house, very comfortable, great little touches like toiletries, selection of teas and coffees. Owner was very accommodating with bag drop off, car parking early on check in and able to leave after check out. Answered my questions quickly and in a friendly manner. Location great for the city, just a short walk and through the city wall.

The owner. He double booked in accommodation, refused to answer his phone, and then tried to cancel our booking after the start time. He forgot to provide the parking permit until late during the first night of our stay. Overall, an absolutely shocking service.

Such a beautifully renovated, warm and cosy home in the heart of York. The house thoughtfully had everything we needed for adults and babies/children, i could have lived there! Tv and wifi worked instantly and without any issues, key and parking permit easy to access, heating arranged automatically, a beautiful big bath and plenty of hot water, we couldnt have asked for more. Cute little garden was a bonus and the 'extra' beds/bedroom with ensuite bathroom in the outdoor cabin was a delightful surprise, this place can definitely host larger families if needed! A short 4 minute walk into York city centre, location was also fantastic and the host, Dave, was a pleasure to liaise with. Chinese takeaway up the road also very good if you dont want to cook! Highly recommended, we will stay again :)
