I grew up near this area and the zipcode is the poshest in Chennai - celebrities and business tycoons live here.... absolutely safe. Big time value for money since we looked for a good B&B; big hotels were in busy roads an all had a few negative reviews. Breakfast was the highlight of the day, especially if you like homestyle cooking. Staff is very, very attentive to all your needs. The owner, Mr. Palaniappan is a very pro-active person and wonderful. "A Home away from home for us"; we stayed five nights and then four more. Will definitely go back if the need arises again. They are also striving to improve.

The location is on a quiet street in a residential area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I certainly would stay here again (in fact, did so twice on this one trip).

No restaurants nearby. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8am.

It is in a beautiful quiet and wealthy area of Chennai, so a real treat for some quiet streets and nice residential buildings. The breakfast was nice and everything was clean.

It’s not super central for things to do but close enough. Also not a lot of restaurants around as it is residential. Staff wasn’t terribly hospitable. If you are even 5 minutes late to breakfast they’ll turn you away. They want to charge you for water when it doesn’t seem a hard and fast rule. Also their price for laundry is extortionate. The rooms are run down but comfortable. In ours the wallpaper glue was shoddily done and had stains which for what you’re paying I guess you’d expect to not see.

The overall room and service...and located in a very quiet neighborhood

Ola drivers have trouble finding the location. Hence one must seek out "easy to locate" landmarks to insure Ola can pick up and drop off. However, this is more of an issue with Ola than the hotel

The location was fabulous...couldn't ask for a better one. Rooms were fine as we were out most of the day and came back very late for resting. Breakfast could be better as we felt it was pretty basic compared to restaurants and hence we only had breakfast here first morning and preferred to go out other days. Would go back there if an opportunity arises again just for the location...just 4 doors away from Rajini's house and what more can you ask for.

Quiet neighborhood, centre of the city

Difficult to get cabs. And no gym.

Excellent location, quiet and safe to walk around. The property is well-maintained and staff were welcoming and attentive. Our room (a superior double) was spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet and the bathroom was reasonably clean. The shower worked as did all sockets in the room. Room service was available and seemed reasonably priced. We did not use this option, but breakfast was prepared every morning and was an assortment of Indian breakfast choices with the option of an omelette. Water and juice is available from the hotel for a small charge and there is room to sit outside. The staff were very welcoming and kind.

The bathroom (shower screen and tiles around sink) could have been cleaner. There was no view from our room, but there was a small shared seating area right outside we could use.

The air conditioner was ok and not as effective. Had to speak to the person and said he has sorted but there seemed to be no difference
