As I am tall, the mansarde room had some ‘obstacles’ for my head My GPS did not find the hotel as the street name on booking was not completely correct. It also didn’t find the hotel name.

Perfect quite place, short distance ( 20 min) from beach, balance between beach relax and Overtourism.

The view was magnificent the area was very quiet which is what I needed. The food the staff the rooms were perfect and I couldn't be happier for choosing this place to stay.

the area had weak cellphone coverage and the wifi wasn't the best but it got the job done.

We super enjoyed our stay at Poggio. The view is great, the restaurant has delicious food and the staff is really friendly and helpful. My son forgot his AirPods and they were so friendly so ship them to our home address. This was much appreciated.

Beautiful setting and facilities. We were there a bit off season, and it was still rainy so the pool wasn't ready yet, but otherwise, it was a good stay. The restaurant was very good and they have a very nice selection of wines. Breakfast buffet was also very nice. Our room had a balcony with gorgeous mountain views.

Amazing view from the estate

Lovely hotel on a hill with views overlooking the valley. Modern and clean facilities. Perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Ascoli Piceno. Spacious room with great bathroom, balcony overlooking the pool, and Nespresso machine. Restaurant has wonderful food and drinks selection. Staff are very friendly and hospitable. Good value!

the view from the hotel is right onto an industrial area. There was a wedding ceremony and there were no parking spaces available anymore.

Pictures are not a true reflection of the condition of the hotel. Very tired and worn out, the owners clearly don’t have the money to maintain the upkeep of the facilities. Dirty exterior. I will say that the room was comfortable and clean, the restaurant was surprisingly good. All in all I wouldn’t stay there again. Expectations were high and not met.

Pillows need washing /the laundry service doesn’t leave pleasant scent on pillows/sheets at all……. But a part from this amazing place.

Nothing really.

The property is well maintained and clean, just like in the pictures, everything was top quality. Bed linen fresh and the room has a lovely scent. The views are spectacular and the staff friendly. Not a massive choice for savoury foods for breakfast, no fresh veg and fruit for breakfast, it was one of each, but everything was very tasty. Loved the fresh grapefruit juice, the cured meat and the huge selection of tarts, including the plum tart and the cheesecake was lovely.

No rooms with a twin beds only. The one staff available in the breakfast area watching every move, felt like I had to rush.

We enjoyed the view from our terrace and felt our stay would be even better in Summer as we could swim in the very nice pool.

Breakfast had a nice selection of cakes, but the options were limited for those without a sweet tooth in the morning. I'd appreciate some Italian cheese for example.

It is frustrating that you cannot find the place using google maps unless you search for Il Poggio RESTAURANT - if you look for HOTEL you end up in the middle of nowhere :-(
