Great welcome from the hosts and great view on the lake during our stay.
Difficult to find as Google maps isn't helping and the local people don't know the name of the family which is shown on booking.

Our visit to Isla Amantani and our stay at Chaska Wasi with Oswaldo, Beatriz, and Jessi was the highlight of our Peru trip (yes, better than Macchu Picchu).
Staying on the island at this location, gave us the peace and tranquility that we craved. The view from our room and the courtyard was absoluely breathtaking. We watched the sky and lake change throughout the day to various shades of blue. We watched lightning over the water at night.
From this location, we had easy, quick access to the plaza. We were able to hike to pachamama and pachatata. This part of the island had gorgeous views and was very quiet. It was also conviently close to the boat ramp for drop off and pick up.
Walking on the island and observing farming practices, happy sheep, and beautiful stone walls filled us with joy.
The meals here were delicious and the portions tremendous.
The family provided us with the perfect amount of attention and hospitality. We were able to interact with them and ask questions but were free to do our own thing. The experience felt VERY authentic and genuine (not fake or forced).
We cannot recommend this accomodation enough.

Amazing island, great to explore Pachamama & Pachatata. The family was incredibly warm & friendly.
Had a bit of trouble getting a boat back from the island, but the property owner gave us some advice on what to do.

Location was great and it was clean, comfortable, the hosts were nice
There was no place to eat on the island and Beatrice wanted to charge us 25 soles each for lunch and 20 for dinner which I thought was a bit high. Breakfast is included in the stay and it was just 2 small pancakes and tea, nothing else and we were really hungry during the morning hike.

This was our best stay in Peru! The family is amazing - super friendly and loving. The place is super clean and quite. We had a amazing view on the lake. Hot shower is guaranteed!
There’s no cars, motorbike or street dogs making noise!
We would have loved to get to known the family and their culture better, but our Spanish is very basic.
Also the food is super delicious! They adjust to your diet - in case your vegan or vegetarian.
We highly recommend to visit this place to learn more about authentic life on Amantani Island!

The breakfast, lunch and dinner were all perfect - good, simple, homemade food and lots of it. My room (single) was just the right size with a lovely view over Lake Titicaca to mainland Peru; in my room there were hooks for hanging clothes and a table for organising other stuff, there were enough blankets of the bed and another which I used when sitting outside and reading. They had electricity so we could charge phones, read at night etc. Beatrice and Osvaldo were lovely, genuine hosts who were helpful and adaptable to the needs of their guests. The island is so relaxing and staying at Titicaca Chaska Wasi Amantani was so good that I didn't want to leave. I reorganised my plans so I could stay another night. I recommend 3 nights minimum.
The only weak point was the shower. The water (and maybe all the electricity, I'm not sure) was provided by solar panels, which was great. The water was lovely and hot, but the shower was quite weak. It would be perfect if there was a stronger flow of water. Still, as it is I could wash my hair etc.

Osvaldo and Beatriz were the most lovely hosts and people we have stayed with. They have a great home with lovely rooms, hot water and an astonishing view over lake Titikaka.
The prepared meals were delicious and I can only recommend staying with them at any time!

Beatrice and her husband Osvaldo are exceptional hosts, and Beatrice is a really great cook! They both made us feel very comfortable and welcomed in their community. Osvaldo arranged to pick us up from the port and walked us to their hotel. We were happy to spend two nights there, with a great location close to the plaza and perfect views to Lake Titicaca. We highly recommend staying here, as you will have a wonderful time!

Osvaldo and Beatrice are two lovely and kind hosts. Nothing is never too much for them. Beatrice is an Amazing chef and Osvaldo can tell you loads about Local culture. The house is in an Amazing location, breathtaking seaview. Highly recommended.

Joe and his family was very sweet. Although there was a language barrier, he did try to have a conversation. He showed me where to go for my hike to both mountains, and made sure I didnt get lost. His wife even dressed me up in her traditional clothes, which was very sweet.

everything was really clean and organized, the staff was really helpful. The food was amazing! I really recommend stay here you won’t regret, the view is amazing too you can see the mountains and the lake!
