such a beautiful little hideaway, can’t fault anything, the sweet garden was out this world, nothing was too much trouble , lots of choice for breakfast !! all lovely and fresh, we will definitely be returning soon ,

It is a fantastic little hideaway offering quiet & relaxation in a beautiful garden, so peaceful and such a range of food offered for breakfast. Angela mine host provided everything to make the stay so comfortable.

Accommodation and the surrounding area was fantastic, very quiet an relaxing. Angela is a very welcoming, friendly, caring and warm host. We've made our next booking already :)

host wasn’t intrusive

could have been cleaner, towel rail and under table and top of microwave., don’t know when they were last cleaned or dusted.

Perfect location, friendly owner, fabulous facilities and value for money.

After a full day working, it was good to go back to relax, no traffic no noise, very peaceful, home from home amenities and very comfortable

Everytrhing was excellent

Breakfast selection was excellent and loved the fresh croissants delivered daily. Great selection of toiletries and accessories. Enjoyed flicking through tourist leaflets and location was so peaceful.

We loved the location, very quiet and we had everything we needed at the property, including a nice breakfast, provided by the property’s friendly owner. St Vigeans church was interesting and you could walk along the river to Arbroath.

The place was super cosy and Angela is such a great host. She really made the stay perfect. We wanted a wee getaway and it was the perfect place. Angela made sure we had everything we needed and gave us tips for the trip. The village is so beautiful and there are lots of great walks and you can easily get into Arbroath for nice food and sightseeing too. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back.

Well appointed, comfortable property with plenty of character in a quiet, attractive location and with excellent food provisions.

We were surprised to find the fridge and cupboard fully stocked for our stay, which should be made clearer on the listing. We wasted a lot of space in the car bringing food that we didn't need. All our needs were anticipated before our arrival and having a fresh croissant was a lovely touch in the morning. I felt a little guilty about placing our dirty dishes out for cleaning by someone else, but it was another lovely touch offered by our kind host. The garde was wonderful and the bothy a very ralxing and comforting place to be. We will definitely be back.

The GPS pointer on the had had us park up further up the street and I felt a little silly having to call the property to find out exactly where to park. Perhaps an extra picture on the ad to show the gate for the property to help out people like myself who may struggle to find it on a first visit. Other than that, everything was perfect.
