Really well-equipped flat in great location. Paolo gave us some great tips on places to go and some superb local restaurants. And the aircon was a lifesaver!

Air conditioning was great in the living room but could do with it in the bedroom. This would not stop me recommending the property.

Nice apt that has most of what you need. Good location. We were met by Paolo who gave us a lot of good tips about the neighbourhood and what to see in Genova.

There were construction work on the facade of the building and it was not possible to use the balcony. The balcony with the view of the harbour was my main reason to book this place. Instead, all the noise and the dirt led us to be out of the apt all day and we may as well have booked a cheap room to just sleep in since we were out anyway. I understand that the building needs work, but what I don't understand is that I wasn't told about this beforehand. I booked early so I hadn't read the latest reviews. The owner had months to inform me, but didn't. I would have booked a different place had I known.

The host Anna was very friendly and helpful and met us on arrival. She gave us lots of useful information for our stay. The position of the flat was great on the harbour and close to the old city. There was a supermarket very near and lots of bars and restaurants. Under normal circumstances this would be a great place to stay and I would have given a much higher rating.

The building was undergoing renovation, we were given the chance to cancel but didn't realise the extent of the impact of the works being done on the accommodation. There was scaffolding outside the building with builders walking past the windows so that the blinds/curtains had to be closed for privacy. The balcony was unusable and closed off with debris frequently falling onto it. We were woken in the morning by the noise from the builders. This work will be ongoing until August.

Highly recommended. We had booked for two nights enroute to Cinque Terre. Anna got in touch well before the arrival date to alert us about some repairs on the building. She was very courteous and even offered to cancel which we did not do and best decision I made. Anna met us just outside the apartment and was sweet enough to show us around. Best location in Genoa surrounded by breakfast cases, restaurants and the touristy spots. Only 15 mins from the airport (25USD cab ride). We did not use any parking. 10 mins walk from the main station to catch the train all over Italy. All the tourist spots are within short walking distances. Apartment was fine - we were three of us and the extra sofa bed was large enough. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Its not a new apartment but clean and very functional. Good water pressure on the showers. Overall highly recommended.
