If you're looking for a little seaside getaway - this cottage is the perfect location. We walked everywhere during our stay - that's how close everything was. The high street, Deal Castle, great pubs and the beach were literally on our doorstep. We travelled by train but this property also has a free car park and the hosts leave you a parking permit to use during your stay.

My bed was a little uncomfortable but that could be due to me being so used to my own bed. The curtains in the rooms aren't blackout so if you're a light sleeper - bring an eye mask but this didn't bother me.

The Coastal Escape was perfect for our family of three. We loved the little cottage, rooms were airy, beds were comfortable and the facilities were perfect. Location was even better, able to park our car (permit was easy to find in the hallway) and walk to places for the entire time we stayed! Neighbours were friendly across the road. We enjoyed tapas at Cin Cin bar around the corner, Wellingtons Bistro on the sea front was perfect for breakfast, location not far from the arcades, the leisure pool and pier. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay again.

Twin room beds were actually MDF shelves with mattresses Yard/patio was dirty cutlery a bit hit and miss - teaspoons tea stained! sofa is tired property backs on to a dingy space between buildings - some derelict - with lots of seagull poopers everywhere. yes it’s the seaside!

Town centre location, close to the beach. Comfortable accommodation. Parking permit provided.

Parking space too tight to use for my mid sized car. Dustbin men calling at 5.30am, obviously not the host’s fault !

The location was fantastic, close to everything you need. The property was clean and comfy, we would come back and have recommended it to friends.

The only issue was the extractor fan is on a sensor in the bathroom and stays on for 20 minutes.

On the directions put at the very top do not drive down the lane and use the parking space. We got completely stuck and damaged the car trying to get it out. We only noticed this at the very bottom on the directions - when we were stuck

The lockbox is round the side & a bit difficult to use. Beds could have done with a blanket too. Not easy to park by the side but Queen Street parking is close.

Central location, quiet & quaint cottage. Outside courtyard where owner happy to allow cycle storage (& there is a 4" cast iron drain pipe to lock them to.) Nicely decorated and furnished.

Clean well presented house. Two good sized bedrooms. Ideal location just back from the seafront but close to restaurants and bars. Parking space is a real bonus.

The second bedroom is a good sized twin room but has no windows except for a skylight. The only other negative is the shower. It is impossible to get under the shower head because it’s positioned at the sloping end of the bath. A shame because it lets the place down.

The parking space was a bit tight to get into and we got trapped in by another car that parked in the lane across the space

A welcome pack would have been nice with information about the local area. The outside space was grim. I would recommend painting the fences and putting higher fences and plants in pots. It also needs a daylight blind in the sitting room to let light through and block the terrible view of decaying backs of buildingsfrom the sitting room.

House is located in the heart of Deal. The house was cosy. The beds were very comfortable. Instructions that we received how to reach and access property were clear.

Location was good for bus and super markets, eating and generally getting about.

even tho the court yard area was large and clean where it backed on to other buildings it was the amount of nesting birds and the amount of noise they made, if you don't mind that then it's fine, if you have a phobia of birds then it's not good.
