Beautiful apartment, great location. All the supplies you need in the kitchen and wc. I strongly recommend it. We drank all their coffee 🤭 Sorry!😅

The apartment was perfect in every way. Close proximity to the main shopping streets, plus easy access to the sea front (for aurora watching!). The bed was very comfy and the kitchen had all we needed to self cater. The TV had UK channels allowing us to watch the news and dramas etc. in English. There was a very jolly person who came to service the apartment. We did not require towels or any cleaning on a few days, so just left the 'Do not disturb' sign outside the door. The shower had good pressure and the water was a good temperature. The bonus supermarket next door had everything we needed at good value prices. Highly recommended and we hope to return!

Very cleverly arranged small space. Although the place was tiny, it didn’t feel tiny and it had all the necessary amenities. Comfortable, warm and clean.

Location was just a 5 minute stroll into the very centre of town. It was in a great location with many amenities close by.

I didn’t have any issues with the apartment, however would recommend that you put some information on how to operate the TV because there are two remote and can get confusing.

Have everything you need, can't ask for more.

Good location, well equipped, comfortable self-checkin

The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were very nice and great quality. I love that the bathroom floor heated up and the whole room got extremely warm when the heating was on and even with it off, I suppose due to the geo thermal effects of Iceland. The kitchen area was fully fitted with anything that you might need for a short and long stay, and attention to detail was definitely a feature when it comes to what is in the place. There is even an outlet in the bathroom which I find to be very rare in most places in Europe. Lighting was decent, water out of the tap comes out both cold and hot so was very practical. The sink and toilet seemed to be quite new and good quality which is always very nice and the room was clean when I arrived. Collecting the keys was very easy. Inside the room there is a booklet with information including wifi login details, and they provide a couple pages of information in the envelope with the keys. The area is nice and within walking distance to the centre with a supermarket next door and a 24h market not far. Construction was going on outside my window during my stay but it didn't cause much disturbance as I was out during the day and they were not there in the night. The room I stayed in was like a small studio with everything needed. I also took flybus from Keflavik and it dropped straight in front of Northern Comfort which was handy. Curtains don't block out any light though so if going in summer prepare to sleep in light!

When I first arrived to the room the smell of cooked meat was overwhelming. It wasn't that the room had not been cleaned, but I believe the occupants before me cooked up a breakfast before they left. When the cleaners came in of course they cleaned but I do not believe that the room was aired out. As the window and door was closed, the aroma of the food remained enclosed to greet me. Though I did open the window, I was skeptical to leave it open while I left as I was not sure how secure it would be. I contacted the hotel to let them know and to say that I bought a candle to try and alleviate the smell that was strong and nauseating. I was informed that the cleaner would handle it the next day. I told them that I would be away when the cleaner arrived but that I would leave the candle to try and clear the smell. What happened next is a little unfair. When I returned the cleaners were there. I thanked them as I walked past and went in my room to find the odour was gone, BUT so was my candle. Iceland is not cheap and as I had paid for that expensive candle with my own money I was not happy to find it had been taken. I asked the cleaners about it and one immediately said the words "speak to the owner" and seemed as though she was already ready for/expecting a confrontation. After speaking with her things calmed but it seemed that I initially caused offense through reporting the smell as she mentioned that she cleaned the room before I arrived. All was fine but later I received an email saying they found no smell except my candle and to not use a scented candle as the next guest is expecting clean air. They didn't say this when I 1st informed that I bought a candle for the issue + aren't I a guest expecting clean air too? Anyway apart from that the fridge made a constant ticking noise that disturbed my sleep and the curtains do not close out any light.

There was a balcony which we unfortunately couldn't use due to safety restrictions so it felt little bit enclosed.

Nice apartment with all you need to make some meals, very comfortable bed. Check in is 100% remote and worked perfectly. Location is good no to far from the center and next to a supermarket in a quiet area.

The apartment was very clean. They also cleaned every day and gave us new towels. The location is close to the center, you have a supermarket next door and some nice cafés nearby. Eventhoug the check in was at 15:00, they let us stay in our room from 12:00 when we arrive, that was very kind of them.

check-in and out were as smooth as they can get. The kitchen was fully equipped. Parking on the street was unproblematic. Everything was as clean as it is in our own home. Definitely recommended.

Parking opposite side seamed free parking and we got a huge parking fine on our last day...

location was quite central and plus the apartment was comfy and with all the essentials for a good staying.

the first two days nobody came to clean the apartment.

Check in and check out was a breeze. It is also a 11min walk to main shopping and dining street & there's a Bonus supermarket next door so location is great! The host(s) were also prompt to assist when you inform them of any issues during your stay. Will definitely book again and recommend. Iceland itself is a lovely place! Really loved the whole experience with its people and the country. Thank you for hosting me!

Had a little trouble with heating (it was too cold) and bathroom drainage (sink is clogged) during the first night. But I immediately informed the hosts and they were quick to assist the next day.

Cleaning service is on top level, place is nice and in very good location. Must see the perlan museum! Wifi is very fast!

There is no Netflix on TV but there is a lot of sat channels so it's ok.
