The Staff were so friendly, the Union Amical Corse Club is a friendly place to stay in Dakar for short and long term periods. Very close to the City Center and the service is really good.

This isn't a bad thing at all but beleove them when they say it may be hard to find on the first try, my taxi from the airport got lost for a bit 🤣

The morning sunrise views were sunsational, and it was so peaceful even though you are a short walk from the busy downtown area. I enjoyed walking in the area near the water"s edge and embassies. It felt very safe, and I made the most of the location on foot. The restaurant staff were very attentive and courteous, and the WiFi allowed me to get a lot done during a working vacation.

The room was very basic, and I was right beside the Beach club that hosted a kids camp in the mornings and football games in the evenings. That meant the view from my room was not ideal, and at times quite noisy. Spending time by the pool and down at the water was a great trade off. Also, because of my limited French and Wolof, communication was not very effective, but my needs were meet, and I was grateful. I really appreciated being a five minute walk to a dive center that took me out for an amazing experience near Gorée Island.

We liked the location right next to the sea and close enough to walk to the ferry to Isle de Goree. We had a lovely view over the pool and sea from our room. The staff were really friendly.

Our room ( number 5) was close to the next door astro turf and so was occasionally noisy with people playing football.

Very clean room, bathroom, regular house keeping. Driver waiting in the airport as scheduled. Property address as per description. Walking distance to the city center. Decent wifi signal.

Breakfast: very narrow choice, every day the same. Extra piece of bread, extra coffee - all charged! One of the staff ladies very friendly - no one else asked us any single question - maybe because we do not speak French - and that is clearly the property's preferred language. Taxi for the departure - ordered "last minute", someone absolutely coincidental. A 50-year old car (which we do not mind) with no seat belts in the rear (which we DO mind - for an hour drive on the motorway).

The bedroom was clean and fresh. The location in Dakar was fab!

The photos of the property must had been taken some time ago, it is now looking a lot more tired. The pool and area surrounding it wasn't very clean. The pool is also not exclusive to the hotel, you can pay to use the pool for the day so this meant it was very busy at the weekend. We had to keep the curtains to our room window closed if we wanted any privacy, as there were families directly below our window. The breakfast was very basic, just a croissant and a tea.

Beautiful location in Dakar city. It is secluded enough from the busyness of the city that it feels like a true getaway. The pool is nice and the view to the ocean is spectacular. The ocean view room with a balcony is definitely worth the extra money. The balcony faces East so if you are motivated you can wake up and watch the sunrise. Friday night is a little bit noisy because of karaoke and people having fun in the pool/ restaurant area, but the party stops at a decent hour. It was lively and fun. The staff is very friendly and they make you at ease, so you can join the festivities. The food was very good . We had one lunch and one dinner. This hotel is family owned so they pay attention. They know who is in and out of the hotel. Very safe. Our room was very clean and smelled good. The AC works very well. This is a great place to vacation with children. If you are coming from the airport, I highly recommend reserving the chauffeur from the hotel.
