Beautiful property, large rooms and high ceilings - decorated to the highest standard. Dip pool perfect after long hot days.

The location of the accommodation is perfect, right next to the winetram and close to the centre of Franschhoek. The check-in was easy and convenient

The kitchen facilities were not up to standard. The electric stove was really not fit for purpose and even cooking some pasta was impossible. In addition, from the pictures it doesn't become clear that you are sharing the pool with other guests and that the outside space is not private. Both of these points should be communicated better

Laurel Cottage was a fantastic base for exploring Franschhoek. We had three rooms between 6 of us - tons of space and we loved the living room area for chilling in. Unfortunately, our time was really rainy so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor areas but the location was fab for exploring the main street and for getting on the Wine Tram. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were great and spacious, as well as excellent bathrooms. Parking was easy too - definitely recommend.
