Last time I was assigned an apartment with better view.

The apartment was very quiet, had all the amenities for cooking, supermarket just a minute away, coffee and train to city a 5 minute walk. Customer support was very responsive. Key instruction were very clear.

Located on the 1st floor in a working area, view was to other offices and the street, had to sit with blinds closed most of the time. The exhaust hood alarm in the kitchen kept going off, had to turn off electricity to turn it off. I was sure I booked the place with a view to the lake, turns out they have several accomodations and you get the exact location at the last minute, but ventually this place had better location and drives to the center.

Before considering booking with this host, please be aware of a few important points: 1. **Variety of Flats:** This host manages multiple flats in various buildings and locations. These accommodations seem to be more suitable for long-term stays. 2. **Allocation Procedure:** Your specific apartment will be assigned to you only 24 hours prior to your arrival and will be confirmed through email. It's worth noting that the photos displayed during the booking process might be a mix of various flats, which can be confusing. Particularly, the main photo showcasing a waterfront view might be enticing but might not accurately represent the flat you'll be allocated. 3. **Location Discrepancy:** I personally experienced a location discrepancy during my stay. The flat assigned to me did not match the location pinpointed on Google Maps via booking.com. This unexpected discrepancy affected my 4-day trip in Bergen. 4. **Parking Concerns:** Additionally, despite inquiring about parking facilities, no assistance was provided in assigning a parking spot in the basement. Interestingly, I observed some parking spaces being left vacant overnight, which were supposedly assigned to the host. I have rarely voiced complaints on booking.com, but this time, I felt compelled to share my experience as I believe I was a victim of a real estate issue.

Not Suitable for vacation.

The location is good. Close to markets etc.

Cleanliness is a big issue there. Main living floor carpet was disgusting and full of hairs. Bedroom sheets weren't clean either. Only two towels to use. Got a parking spot on the other side of the street in a different building, which wasn't convenient to go fetch the car and go back go bring the car, especially if you have kids with you.

The apartment was basic, but well set out and a great size. Apartment a little way our of city - found using light rail (from Florida station) to get around was easiest thing to do. Light rail easiest way from / to airport + the main station. Overall, apartment very comfortable and recommend it.

The biggest issue was finding the apartment - instructions are not that clear. Our apartment was in buildling 42, but have to go through building 40 which initially was not clear. So we were looking for our apt in 40, until realised not correct buildilng. Eventually got to 42 but could not find apt as every apt marked as "F". Eventually we found someone who had to assist a previous visitor and show us the apt which is marked correctly - but we would not have found it without their assistance. Strongly suggest improve explanation e.g. "you are on the right floor even if all apartments marked F etc". Getting out was an issue as need to leave key on table - but need key to get to building 40 - we worked out that one of us would have to keep door open while other takes key back!

The location was good, nice and quiet. the apartment was clean and very spacious

The location of the key was quite far away. unfortunately after getting stuck on the Oslo to Bergen train and we arrived at 3am. Trying to then get the key and then get to the apartment was quite stressful. You do get provided emails and information of where the key is, but even so it is still a pain.

Basic Amentities. clean.

we had booked three apartments at Bergen together and they all were far from each other. the whole point of the group booking was so we could stay together. also one of the apartments we weren’t informed about the housekeeper visiting to change the kettle so while we were staying there they entered the apartment. While nothing was touched as such but we weren’t informed so when we realised someone had been there it was a bit scary for us. Plus there is no direct person to reach out only customer care which has certain timings to get in touch with.
