Very clean and convenient. Very upmarket. Loved the botique apartment. The hostess was accesdible amd brry helpful. 10 mins walk from Bergen sentrum.and the ferry wharf. Having a washing machine and dryer was an advantage. Close to sipermarket and some restaurants- 3 min walk.

Bit of a steep hill to walk up but this wasn’t a big deal for us.

Check in was extremely easy and instruction is clear. Room itself is clean, comfortable and have a sense of home. Location is great, 10 minutes walk to the CBD of Bergen. We love this apartment a lot.

There is no lift in the building and the room is located in level 2. For traveler with huge luggage like myself, it is extremely hard to carry all of our thing to 2nd floor. Staircase is small and narrow which is kinda dangerous for us to carry it up.

No elevator

The location overall is good, apart from being at the top of a very steep hill (which is hard with heavy luggage). It’s a short walk from bus station to the apartment and easy to get a bus from the airport to that main station. Check in was very easy, good communication and information provided ahead. Good facilities - a nice little kitchen area with large fridge to store snacks, and the washing machine dryer was a godsend in beautiful but often rainy Bergen. I had to dry some clothes when I was caught out in torrential rains. The bed is very comfy. It’s a nicely decorated pretty place.

I was only staying for a couple of nights but I couldn’t sleep much for a couple of reasons. The ground floor studio that I was in faces the street and there was some noise from People outside, either walking by or stopping and chatting late at night (up to 3am one night). There is a student halls of residence nearby and I think they use that road as a path to and from it. And other residents of the apartments slammed the main door and stomp up the stairs when they came back late. The window blinds work from the bottom up so they can either be fully open and everyone can see in to what you’re doing, or fully closed and then darkness. Would be nice to have option like a net curtain or something to allow light in if there during the day, rather than allowing people on the street to see directly in. Fairly tiny studio and hard to move around in shower area with the dryer and cupboard in the way. This isn’t against the Property but a tip for other travellers, if you want to have a glass of wine in the apartment you can’t buy it at the local kiwi shop, you have to go further into town to the shopping mall to a special wine shop that closes at 6pm.

We booked for the same day and we could check in immediately. There are no keys needed.

It was a modern apartment in a restored old building. We liked the big windows and the bed was very comfortable. The well equipped kitchen and the washing machine were huge plus. We liked a location. There're good coffee shops and bars in a short walking distance and also a big park nearby. After checking out we were able to store our luggage at the hotel across the street and the host helped us get a taxi to the airport.

We would have liked a little more view since our room was mostly looking at the roofs. The walk from the train station was short but very steep uphill. It was a little difficult with a lot of luggage.

The cutting knife was so blunt I was unable to cut with.

We liked the cleanliness and all the amenities and the comfortable bed and soaps and lots of towels which were needed as floor soaked after every shower.

We didn’t like the bathroom as shower soaked the floor, there’s nothing to dry your towels on and the bathroom was cold We also had workmen outside our patio and windows very early on one of our mornings shouting and drilling with music on so we had to keep blinds down and not sit outside. The steps down to our apartment were very dangerous in places.

The location is great.

The studio apartment I stayed at (Carl Friedrich on 2nd floor) did not have a microwave oven and the electric stove did not work, so it was frustrating that I was unable to prepare or heat up food quickly. I strongly suggest you add microwaves to all the units!!

I did not expect breakfast. The location is outstanding!

This is not a change to make in that unit, but a bath tub would be nice.
