Location was great. All major pick up points for our day trips were 10 min walking distance away. Reykjavik city center was 2 minute walk away. However despite this, it was a quite location with no crowd or vehicle noise around. Room had a balcony which was quite good. Kitchen was good enough to cook some breakfast of scrambled eggs etc. Lift was working.

They didn't allow early checkin . Also they didn't provide door key earlier for me to drop my bags at the luggage room. I had take the caretakers phone number from a guest waiting in lobby of Swan house to get the luggage room key and door key. It was confusing and not really great.

The linings were not clean. No one came to change the towels and clean the room during our 5 days’ stay.

Stunning apartment. Spacious. Clean. Location was superb. 4th visit to Reykjavik and this was my favourite apartment.

Balcony isn’t really a selling point as overlooks a building site. We wouldn’t have used it anyway :)

Basement apartment leaked water by windows when raining -- but not a big deal for our stay.

Firstly as always with booking.com you end up paying a higher price than they indicate when you purchase on their website. They always get you. Usually cause they charge in different currency to the one you think you are buying in. There is always this hidden 5 - 10 USD extra charge. The Ylma Apartments & Hotels / Saga Studios / Heimaleiga ehf. property (operating under 3 different names) we rented for two days was a soulless facility. Cheap basic furniture, poor bed and a really basic ultra small kitchenette. You get a code to get in. There is no one to talk to. And what topped everything was the fact they throw you out at 10:00 a.m. The check-out time on the last day is 10:00 a.m. !

Problem with TV not working all week. We were given very misleading information on how to solve this. No shelves in the bathroom, and no soap dish in the shower.

The flat was perfect for our needs. Location is very close to down town Reykjavik,you can walk into town in 5 minutes, 1 minute from cathedral, 13 mins from bsi bus station on straight road. ( Or you can pick up the easy to use scooters and halve the walking time!) Also had public thermal baths opposite the apartment block. The apartment was clean, spacious, functional kitchen area with sufficient cutlery/ plates/ pans/ cleaning products etc. Bathroom was big, good shower and hand wash and some shampoo available. Apartment was also very warm, underfloor heating and hot water on tap. Comfy single beds pushed together. Little balcony. We were on the first floor so not amazing views but as the rest of Reykjavik has amazing views it's not really an issue. Not noisy at night, area seems mainly residential/ school close by. Place to leave our bags when we arrived early and when we departed. ( Not a locked facility but safe enough for clothes etc). I would definitely use again if we visited Reykjavik. Communication with hosts was quick and efficient.

wasn’t cleaned when we arrived after 3 pm and took to almost 5pm to get into the apartment. yet when we got locked out at 10:10am when we had gotten back 10 min late which added stress to getting to our bus.

Location is great, really close to bus stop 6. apartment is clean, clear instructions on how to check in. Loved the little kitchen and layout.

Please add some shower gel. Also there is construction going on next door. Starts promptly at 8am - the noise didn’t bother me, but might bother light sleepers

Perfect accommodation for us, warm, with everything we need. Near the bus stop 11 and excellent city swimming pool.

location is perfect. on a quiet street but just a few minutes walk to the Main Street. local hit bath is right across the street.

Comfortable, clean, near everything. Available coffee & teas, sugar, etc. The building has an elevator which is great. The kitchen is fairly equipped. The street is very quiet, so we slept without any problems. Good WiFi.

No closets or drawers to put our clothes on, just a few hangers. It would be nice to have a small microwave.
