Condo is very spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed every moment!

Pros: The condo unit was exactly as described. Very spacious, lots of room for the 7 of us to enjoy. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. Great Location. Beach was literally right past the pool. Not too crowded. Balcony had plenty of furniture and you could see both the ocean and the intercoastal from your perch on the 5th floor. You can rent beach lounger/cabanas. Lots of parking. Cons: The elevator. Not only is it super slow but it is small and cramped. Wish there were more dishes. Not enough bowls for everyone. Could really use a keyless door. Sounds like there used to be one and it broke. Hard to share keys for 7 for the condo unit, bathroom by the pool and staircase. Not enough chairs by the pool. If you don't get down early you will not get a chair. People would "reserve" 8 chairs for their group and only 2 were at the pool, no idea where the rest of their group was maybe the beach. There were multiple groups that did this.

The condo is superb, clean and comfortably furnished, with plenty of room. The amenities are great, we enjoyed the pier, pool and hot tub and long walks on the beach. The location can’t be beat, away from the hustle and bustle, but still close to attractions. We’ll definitely be back.

we had a wonderful family vacation. Condo itself was so nice and comfortable. . Sand Dollar itself could do some upgrades to extremely slow elevator and not needing a key or code for pool, beach gate(that barely works) and a key for the pool bathroom. Indian Shores is wonderful and we made some great memories

We took a family vacation for the first time in 10 years. We have a blended family now, and had the best time even if we were in the middle of RED TIDE. We weren't able to get on the beach but one day, that didn't stop us from going to the pool and still enjoying our time together. We laughed, played and enjoyed ourselves the entire time. We definitely will be back. Great location to everything.

It was great experience renting this property second time!

The condo is very large. Plenty of room for a large family. Very well stocked with beach chairs, towels and toys! Plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. The property owners were very accommodating and easy to work with! I would definitely stay there again!! The Adkins family

Property was nice easy access to the beach pool and Jacuzzi close to restaurants shopping

Loved the location on the beach and pool. We had 7 guest including two 22 year Olds, two 19 year olds and an 18 year old. The space in the living room and bedrooms were perfect. Loved the morning coffee on the patio. To improve the stay it would have been nice to have enough dish soap to hand wash some dishes and an extra roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. Only what was on the roll is provided. The dryer was not working upon arrival. The property management took 24 hours to respond back. Fortunately my husband is talented knowing how to fix the dryer spending about 1 hour of our vacation. A small token credit was offered for the inconvenience. We were surprised at all the beach chairs and umbrellas available to use. That was wonderful! Also the property did have some beach towels available. Overall great location and enjoyed the stay.

We had wonderful vacation at Indian Shores and this condo was perfect for our family. We traveled with 3 teens, my father, my husband and I. The condo was big enough for everyone to spread out & have their own bed. The view is beautiful! The balcony does not face the Gulf - but still has a great view of the Gulf & the channel! Amazing that you’re able to catch sunrise & sunset from the same place! We appreciated having beach chairs, beach towels, & umbrella available to use. We saw sting rays 3 different days swimming right up to the shore! This area is quiet, not overly crowded - but close to shops & restaurants. You will not be disappointed in your stay here. Thanks for making your condo available, Cindy - we loved it!

The unit was very spacious and comfortable for our group of 7. Loved the breeze and views of the inter coastal and gulf from the balcony. Nice roomy bedrooms. Great kitchen for making family meals. We appreciated and enjoyed having the use of the beach chairs and umbrellas provided for the beach! The management company should have but did not provide the beach gate code and we had to get that information by asking others on property. Overall a wonderful place for a family vacation.

The location of this unit was absolutely amazing. The private beach, pool, and hot tub were great! The unit itself had a lot of space, there was 8 of us and there was enough room for all of us. The 2 twin beds were a bit uncomfortable and we were really disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit, especially for the amount you have to pay for a cleaning deposit. Also with it being rented out by a different facility it was a little inconvenient to have to drop the keys off 30 minutes away instead of just leaving them in the condo at check out. However overall it was a great stay!!

The property was excellent for our family. Kitchen well stocked and tons of beach chairs and sand toys. The only thing that kept it from being 5 stars was the twin beds. Not most comfortable and was very creaky. We loved the pool and hot tub.

This is kind of a detailed review, but it’s what I look for in reviews to determine my stay somewhere. We arrived late at night and getting our keys was super easy we literally just got our package out of the mailbox and went to our condo. I saw reviews saying the place wasn’t very clean, so I was worried upon arrival. But it was actually very clean and smelled great. There was some sand on the ground and counters, but sand in a condo that is beach front is to be expected in my opinion, so it was fine. The views are BEAUTIFUL, we got to see the dolphins from the waterway and had a great view of the gulf. The couch is different than in the pictures, it’s actually a beautiful cloth sectional couch, which we loved. It was really comfy and there was a big fuzzy blanket that we snuggled us with most of the time. There are only 5 beach towels provided but we brought some of our own so we had plenty to use. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed as well. The big closet area in the master bedroom is FULL of toys, chairs, water boards, a cooler, anything you need for the beach is in there. We all flew in so it was very very nice to have those things provided for us because we weren’t able to bring it with us. And the pier is pretty cool because it’s not overly packed with people since it’s private. The boys went fishing and caught over 30 catfish off of the pier within 2 1/2 hours so definitely try that out. There are poles there, but no reels so they just bought the reels and we were able to pack them on the plane, so if you’re interested in fishing keep that in mind. There’s a Candy Kitchen right down the road that we walked to and got some really good ice cream from and there’s quite a few restaurants and coffee shops near by that are worth checking out! Lastly, we went on a boat ride to Emerald Island (I think that’s what it was called) and it’s definitely something to try out. CHECK THE WEATHER. We went from 11-3, at 1:00 pm it started to thunderstorm and lightning literally struck a nearby tree and we sat unprotected in the storm for the rest of the time and the entire boat ride back. It was a fun activity to do about 40 minutes away, but definitely check the weather. We were freezing by the time we got back and the hot tub was our best friend. I hope this helps, especially people like me that wants to get every detail before coming to a new place. I would definitely come here again, we had a great stay!!

Our family ranging from 42 to 6 loved the property. Pool, beach and fishing pier were all a big hit. Melvin, the evening security guard was top notch. He really looked out for all the families staying at the sand dollar and made sure we had a great stay. We enjoyed being so close to Clearwater and St. Johns. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing a pod of dolphins while jet skiing in the bay at St. Johns. Restaurants in the area were top notch. Definitely recommend Guppys and the Conch Republic.

The condo is in an excellent location. Besides walking a ways to the only elevator, you really are steps to the beach. We could see the sunrise from the balcony over the ocean. It wasn’t clean- by any means. I bought cleaning supplies, just so I could stand it. One of the twin beds I COMPLETELY broken and couldn’t be used. There also were only 5 beach towels, in a condo that sleeps 8, so I had to go buy those also. I would have brought my own if the description of the condo hadn’t stated that they supply them. I wasn’t going to do a review because I use them to base my decision on whether or not to book with the property, but then I received a shocking email. Our stay was June 6th-13th. We checked out at 6:30 am and made our way back to Northern Kentucky. At 11:00 am, on our way back, the rental office called me to ask about our wrist bands. Which are rubber bracelets, the type kids wear that you can buy for a dollar. I explained that I looked all through the checkout instructions and not one word mentioned returning the bracelets. On top of that, common sense said to throw them away because of the pandemic, why would they want to reuse bracelets that my family had worn all week. She explains that she will speak to the owner and get back to me. I never heard from her again. Until today. July 1st. I received an email saying I’ve been charged for damage to the property! I scroll down to read and it explains that the wrist bracelets that I failed to return would cost me a small fortune and that I was already charged. I’m disgusted.

It was great experience with family stay! We will definitely come back next year

My family loved the location of this property!!! The heated pool was wonderful and the hot tub is HOT! We loved the amenities. The condo itself needs to be cleaned better. There were cockroaches that we had to kill in the 2nd bathroom. However, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has all the cooking accessories you could want. The condo is spacious for a family. We took the stairs every time because the elevator is very slow. Overall the condo was sufficient but I would not stay there again due to the lack of cleaning.

Needs deep cleaning and some maintenance

Condo needs some furniture upgrades. Couch was broken in the middle and it would sink in when sitting on it. Was not very comfortable. Bar stools were too tall for the bar area and very wobbly and not safe. Master bathroom sink next to toilet the drain plug was broken and sink bowl was cracked. Cable box was broken in 2nd bedroom. Box would not power up. Notified owner and she kept asking me to take time out of vacation to stay for someone to look at. Asked if the front lobby or property management team could take care of it and she kept coming back with replies for me to stay at different times. I was on vacation and was not going to take time out of my vacation plans to sit in the condo waiting for someone to come and fix the cable box. Felt that should have been property management responsibility. Finally told her I would just deal with it. Cable kept going in and out in the living room and we had to reset several times. When first arrived sister had to call property management due to stains on the comforters in the 3rd bedroom. Remotes were not easily visible to find. Finally found remote for tv in the master bedroom after being there a few days. It was in a dresser drawer we did not use and just happened to open one day.

Unit 512 was perfect for 5 adults and 1 infant. Plenty of room for everyone, pack n play and highchair where great to have. The views from the balcony were just as described....AMAZING. The elevator is very slow and there is only one for the condo complex so that is a downfall, but the only one.

This was a great place to stay! It was a minutes walk to the beach,located central in town to local resturaunts, and the ice cream man comes everyday at 3:30-ish! Beds could have been a little comfier, but overall a great place to stay.

1st time staying and we loved it. Beautiful views and beautifully well kept 3 BR/2 ba directly on the gulf. Will come back again.

Clean and spacious with a great view of the gulf and intercoastal waterway. Great beach and abundant wildlife. Many great restaurants and other activities close by. Owner is great to work with and responds promptly.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Sand Dollar. The condo was so well equipped with many extras to enjoy! We had access to beach chairs, beach umbrellas, sand toys, body boards, pool noodles, badminton rackets, frisbees and coolers, and much more. It really made our stay in this condo, an easy experience! We had plenty of space in the condo and it was very clean and comfortable. The beach is gorgeous and the pool and hot tub were wonderful as well!

The condo was huge and we had plenty room for our entire family. The kitchen has everything that you would ever need to cook and serve a meal. The view from the balcony was amazing. At the end of the day after enjoying the pool or beach, a beautiful sunset over the gulf is the perfect ending to a perfect day! Thank you Cindy for letting us use your beautiful condo.
