They have lots work to do with the food and service at the restaurant.

The view is not the same anymore from the pool(please update the pictures) , since they are building new stuff. Really load noisy sounds of the Tempel right next to it. (Even 6 am in the morning) the beds are not comfy and were super hard.

Good stay, clean, pretty, and good staff.

Pictures showed room had a bath tub, but when I arrived my room didn't come with one. Pity.

The hotel is quite old and rundown,we had cracks in the walls and the ceiling,dead bugs on the canopy,and the general state of the rooms was not very pleasant. The breakfast was very limited and not tasty.

Amazing hotel , only issue was with finding the location.

The staff were incredibly friendly and no ask was too much. The forest provides a very relaxing zen backdrop and ASMR audio. The spa is offsite but free taxi was provided by the hotel, the treatment was insane!

The place extremely needs renovation, good cleaning and desinsection. everything is old and destructed, lots of insects.

Shampoo etc were good.

So much of calculations in the breakfast and not enough for a person. Dont expect vegetarian food here. The curtains were mouldy, flies were dead on the top of mosquito net. Bathroom was shabby. Pool was average and not so clean. The staircase were slippery without railings.

I was here 3 years ago and it was a wonderful place. but unfortunately after Covid this place was not maintained: the paint was falling down from the walls, the mold is everywhere … the owner definitely doesn’t invest in maintenance of this hotel so I would not recommend to stay there for your health safety

The staff was amazing, helpful and just so kind. The pool with the view was incredible and we got our breakfast delivered to the room. The bed is super comfortable and the room is clean.

The only 2 things I want to mention is, that there is no restaurant around in walking distance, you def need a scooter, which you can get from the hotel. The price for the scooter is fair (60k per day) and the other thing is that the bathroom is open, so whenever you shower it gets very humid inside the bedroom as well, I also traveled with a friend, the other person always left the room when using the bathroom 😅

Lovely place. Quirky little rooms with wonderful views from the balcony. Affordably priced, great reception service (she was SO helpful and polite) and a lovely breakfast. Good wifi and a decent shower. Loved the place.

Breakfast offered many options, infinity pool with a nice jungle view. Staff was very polite and did the best job. They also offer free transfers to Ubud if you book 1 hour in advance. Room was small but cosy. Bed was comfortable and AC worked properly. Can book tours and massages from them. They also offer floating breakfast in the pool for an extra 100k.

Mosquito net was dirty, I almost burned myself with the shower water as it could easily be turned to boiling hot temperature, which could injure children easily. The shower slab on which you stand when showering is not in a very comfortable position. Room did not have the best sound isolation and you hear jungle sounds throughout the night. Also there was a water drainage running right beside the window which was very loud during rain and for two hours after the rain.

Doni's guesthouse is located at a canyon/wild jungle area, just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Ubud's City center. 20 meters away from beautiful and tourists-free rice fields. The guesthouse offers free city center shuttle (max 10 min ride) twice a day and scooter rental. Its a great place if you want to be close to the nature and catch up on sleep. Please note that "nature" includes flora and fauna, means you will meet some small, tiny insects (dont worry, they are more scared of you than you of them). The room was very clean, the matrasses are amazing! Aircondititoner worked perfectly (was freezing at 25°), the water pressure is 1000 times better than I had at 5☆ hotel bunkers in Seminyak. They also offerer free shampoo/conditioner/shower gel/hait dryer. On request an iron. There is a TV in the room (didnt use it though, found nature watching more exciting). The breakfast is great: you can choose between pancakes, black rice pudding, any kind of egg style, toast with jam, fresh juices, tea/coffee. There is also a nice infinity pool (perfect for Insta-victims) For $25/night/room you really can't complain. If you are scared of insects, go to Hilton or any other concrete boxes and enjoy the stay. The management (Gita and her team) is very friendly and helpful. Dont hesitate to ask the team about the surroundings, they will be more than happy to advice you about spots to visit. Internet speed is great, you can easily work from the "Jungle". I liked this place a lot and would recommend it to anyone who is not scared of flora and fauna (if you dont known what it means, google helps).

Please add some dark curtains for the lower bungalows, since the sun shines directly in the face early mornings ;))))

The property itself is stunning, the pool is perfect to relax in and the staff are the nicest people ever. We stayed in the deluxe bungalow and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s an absolute steal for the price and we can’t wait to be back :)

Not a negative but the restaurant food is pretty average and you need a moped to get to the property.
