I stayed couple of nights, it is very calm there, very good comfy bed, it was very clean. Nice terrace with lights that create cozy atmosphere in the evening. It feels different as oppose to usual hotel, this place is authentic and has its charm. Every room has its name and lots of details all over the place. Not to mention extremely helpful Host Amos, who is very attentive to guests and was always in touch to help or advise. I also appreciated instructions & recommendations book in the room. I visited one restaurant from the recommendations list and it was good. Thank you!

I am more get used to having bathroom in the same room, but it didn’t cause me troubles (my exclusive bathroom was on the corridor, just couple os steps outside of my room).

We went to Tenerife on our honeymoon and split our vacation between the north and south of the island. That's how we ended up at Casa Doña Carmela, where Amos took care of ensuring we had all the comfort we need. The accommodation is very well positioned, not too close to the center to avoid the hustle and parking issues, but not too far either. Moreover, it's very close to the tram station that quickly takes you to the center (only 2 stops). The accommodation has a beautifully arranged rooftop terrace where you can sunbathe, enjoy your morning coffee, or simply relax. A big plus is also the breakfast offered every morning, very tasty and varied enough. But what made us feel best here was Amos and the wonderful lessons we learned from him: kindness, care for their beautiful island, and efforts against food waste! Thank you, Amos, for these lessons and for all the advice on where to spend the best time in Tenerife!

I liked the location, away from the noise and the cleanliness of the room. Props to the owner for arranging breakfast ahead of time and avoiding food being wasted. The room was very cosy, silent and comfortable, nice book collection and small bar downstairs for guests who want to spend time outside the room. The host was quick to respond and very helpful.

The room was clean and had a fan. The street was very quite and had good connection for Santa Cruz. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and were fantastic.

The owner is a great person, super nice and helpful! The rooms are very clean and the terrace on the roof is beautiful. Breakfast was very tasty - you can discuss with the owner what you want and it's ready the next day - I had a lot of vegan options.

There was no air-co in the room, only a big fan but that was sufficient.

The owner was extremely sweet. Breakfast was very yummy! Interior was very interesting and cozy. The room was small but absolutely enough for the purpose. The area was very calm and the rooftop was very cool!

It was quite hot and AC would have been very good, but we stayed for 1 night and it was still absolutely ok.

Amos the owner was very helpful, and put me on to a helpful travel agent for options whilst in Tenerife. Amos also helped with my arrival and other transport issues. The breakfast was fresh and healthy a lovely home away from home

The apartment is super cute and the rooftop with all the plants perfect to enjoy the delicious breakfast. We also like that Amos tries to keep everything as sustainable as possible. We really enjoyed our stay here. We can highly recommend this place!

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They made Christmas morning amazing for us by serving us a christmas pudding together with a sumptuous breakfast. They also guided us to a nice Christmas mass. An excellent bed and breakfast place to stay in Santa Cruz.

We loved everything about our stay. It is a very peaceful and beautifully decorated place, and the host Amos is wonderful.

Amos is the best host we ever had. Very attentive to what you need, very helpful and always with a big smile. The house is also nice, only a few rooms which offers a sense of privacy. It is close to the city center (about 15min walk), you can find free parking around the house. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning and the options are interesting and healthy.

Perfect guesthouse for my needs at short notice. Great communication from Amos, who made me feel very welcome. Rooms were tidy, clean and bed was extremely comfy. Roof terrace is over two levels and provides a peaceful place to rest and sunbathe in the city. Breakfast was also very tasty and water & coffee was available all day. The guesthouse is a short walk to the nearby tram stop, which takes you to the city centre in under 10 mins.
