Spotless clean aaprtment, right in the heart of the old Riga town.

There is no bed with a mattress. There is only a hard folding sofa. :(

Got a message in advance letting us know how to enter the department and there was also a person outside, in case there were any problems. Everything was really good - clean, well provided for apartment and an excellent location. Right in the middle of town and great to see life just carrying on. Easy to walk everywhere and for travel further afield, the trains and busses are ridiculously cheep.

At times the WiFi seemed to drop out, or was other than strong, but connected direct, so not a big problem

Excellent location in the heart of the old city. Easy to find apartments. The design of the apartments is modern and has everything you need for your stay. The host responds quickly to requests.

The apartment where I was settled was not cleaned - dirty surfaces, hair in the bed, a broken picture in the room and the apartment did not correspond to reality - for 4 people there was a double bed and a small sofa in the guest room (which was half the size indicated). the host solved the problem by offering another apartment for the second couple, but staying in the first one was not pleasant.

it’s a small apartment, it has the cook, fridge, fan. It’s August, a fan is still not that perfect because the room is easy to being warm, I got hot during the stay. The Wi-Fi seems shared by hundreds of people, it got so slow before 11pm, I can’t view any video smoothly. I don’t know there is not towel, not sure if I missed the info. The room is clean and shower is smooth. But overall, I won’t choose this next time.

Live music during the early hours in the morning was a bit irritating. But then again one can book a room from somewhere else than from the middle of the oldtown.

The shower hose was leaking and the water pressure was very low when I wanted to use hot water..

The location of this place is absolutely amazing, above the Colonel restaurant, overlooking the lovely square in the middle of the old town. We also really liked the design and feel of the room. Modern furnishings, nice bathroom.

We had a few problems that weren't dealt with very well. The external breakfast place was closed in the morning, due to covid regulations. That is ok, we understand, but it would have been nice if we had been informed beforehand, so we didn't have to rock up there expecting breakfast only to be sent away with 'we are closed'. When we informed the owners they said 'you have booked your apartment without breakfast' although our confirmation clearly said it was included. We were supposed to get the wifi code from the TV, but the TV didn't work(which is fine, we don't need TV when we're on holiday, but we did want to go on the wifi for a bit, to arrange some things for the rest of the holiday), so we asked the owners for the code but never got a reply.
