Very spacious apartment, the beds were good and it was clean.

The curtains are not that good at making the room dark, so if you have problems with sleeping with light and want to sleep in, I'd recommend taking a sleeping mask with you.

Nice place to stay for a short trip. Very good location, cozy and clean, good communication with the host. Everything was very good!

The location perfect, appartment clean. I would suggest to put a night lamp near the bed.

Perfect place, in the midle of old town. Very cozy apartments, where you can find anything you need. Friendly host who is always ready to answer. Perfect place for romantic stay. Worth the price.

Bedding was poor. Duvet more like a sheet and heating was on low and no way to up it. It was minus 6 during our stay and it was cold at night as the bedding was not adequate for the temperature. Would have been handy to have a few extra available

The house is in a very central location, close to everything. It is spacious with two bedrooms and a living room. The view from the house is pleasant. You can see the streets of the old town from the window and there is a little balcony as well. Check-in was no problem.

When I got to Riga, it was 9 degrees outside and the house was freezing cold because it is an old house. I asked the host if any heating is available because on the listing it said "heating is available". However, the host said that central heating is not available before mid October and she can provide me with an electric heater if I pay an extra charge of 60 euros for four days. Of course, I did not accept because she did not give any information about that at all on the listing. The listing does not say "heating is available after October 15". It simply says "heating is available". How can I know the heating policy in Riga?So, the guest has all the right to ask for it without extra charge at any time he needs. However, the host was not helpful and friendly. So, I contacted booking because it was impossible to sit in the house without my coat on. I am a university instructor. I came here for a conference and I started to lose my voice because of the cold. Booking found me completely right in my request and they contacted the host but still she rejected doing anything about it. After my communication with booking, instead of trying to help, she suggested me to leave the house, find another place and get a partial refund. What a practical solution isn't it? Also, she claimed to booking that the house is 24 degrees, which was totally not true (let me not use the word "lie"). How can the house be 24 degrees when it is 9 degrees outside? So, simply she misguided both me and booking. I could not enjoy the house and had to do my studies in a cafe nearby. I am now staying in Vilnius and my host here had put an electric heater in the house before I arrived (without me asking) and never asked for an extra fee. This is what a hospitable and helpful host would normally do. Also, on the first day, there was no remote control for the TV. They brought it on the second day but there were no channels available on TV.

Amazing apartment in a great location for exploring Riga. The bedrooms were huge and great balcony for overlooking the new town.

We couldn't find the TV remote but we didn't need to use it anyway.

The bars next to the hotel made an enormous amount of noise, not normal restaurant/bar-music, but clubmusic (also as loud as inside a club, but with the speakers positioned on the terrace). Both the Friday and Saturday were apparently clubnights. As it was very warm in Riga and the appartement, and there was only one fan, we had to sleep with windows open. That meant:not much sleeping, because of the very loud music untill around 01.00 and afterwards the shouting and singing of the partygoers. Other negative point: there was a tiny kitchen with a small table and two chairs, but not even basics for cooking (no salt or pepper, no cleaningproduct for washing your cups in the sink, no coffee machine, not a pan to fry some eggs in).

The appartment is nice and has everything you need. Check in process is very smooth and communication with host was great. The location is in the very heart of oldtown, so all the attractions are just minutes away. Therefore have in mind that action on the street happens almost till morning hours, so if you look for a quite old town appratment then it is not for you.

If you travel with more things, have in mind that closest parking will be few hundred meters away.

All was wonderful, the room sizes, amenities, comfortable beds and everything.

Only two things: 1) although the location is unbeatable, it is also very noisy from the cafés downstairs. Luckily the noise is done around midnight. and 2) communication during our stay was slow. The weather was warm and the fan in one of the rooms did not work. We sent a message and received and answer only two days later, and the problem was not fixed during our stay.

The location in the middle of the Old Town was great. the apartment decoration and the views were beautiful. We appreciated that there were the small necessities already in place (spa, dishwasher and laundry detergent). We liked to hear the music from the nearby bars, especially since it stopped before 11pm.
