Just like home, coffee included. Perfect location, minutes walking from station and old town, supermarket, coffee shop and shopping center just around the corner. Host contacted me before arrival and helped with some questions about the city. High end hifi music equipment with CDs just fitted to my tastes, Bach, Pink Floyd… It’ clear the host has been very thoughtful about what you as a guest would like to find there: amenities in the bathroom, coffee, salt, maps, two wonderful books about Riga and Jurmala, extension cables…Needless to say, spotless and comfortable and with a general sense of contemporary architectural good taste. I definitely would come back.

There’s a pub just opposite the house which has a speaker on the street, throwing music to the otherwise quiet and lovely street. If you’re at home enjoying a rest in the late afternoon with the windows opened it’s really annoying. But the window frames are fantastic and if you close them the silence returns…

Spacious and nicely designed apartment in the very heart of Riga. The apartment itself is situated on the 3rd floor of a building to which you have to climb a steep stairs. However, If you get there you know this was worth an effort. It has got everything you need for a comfortable stay - a big wooden table, huge sofa, fully quipped kitchen, spacious bathroom. The bedroom windows overook a courtyard, whereas the living room ones the street. And even though we are in the city centre it is quite quiet. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean.

Great location in the old town. Short walk to restaurants, cafes and sights. Apartment was very spacious and clean. Owner answered very fast to our questions. We really enjoyed our stay.
