Das Hostel liegt direkt beim Strand. Es gibt genügend Möglichkeiten um sich gemütlich zu machen. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Geeignetes Hostel um schnell andere Backpacker kennen zu lernen. Und es gibt gratis Trinkwasser, was ich sehr geschätzt habe.

Das Badezimmer und die Duschen waren leider voller Schwarzschimmel, was der Gesundheit sehr schaden kann. Die Matratzen sind so durchgelegen, man liegt in einer Grube wo bereits mehrere Personen genau in der selben Grube gelegen sind. Und leider ist nur Wifi in der lauten Bar verfügbar und nicht im Dorm oder dem gesamten Areal. Das macht es schwierig, wenn man wichtige Telefonate machen müsste.

Wonderful social atmosphere, incredible staff that will do everything they can for you.

Basic facilities and regular power outages. To be expected on Koh Rong, unlikely to find much better without paying significantly more.

Will, the manager, was very welcoming! He even let me checked out a little later, and the bungalows are quite big so perfect if you’re traveling with friends. Plus the island is amazing!

No wifi in the rooms, no hot water, the bungalows are a little far from the reception and beach. Location is not so close to the pier so you have to rent a bike or carry your luggage through the beach (15mins walk), and the big party is only on Saturday for the Nestival so I had to walk through the jungle to party near the pier - quite a remarkable experience

Situated on a nice beach, between a little river and the forest, the Nest has the perfect combination of social life and personal space. The queen-size mattress are great for solo travelers to feel like in a capsule hotel.

No hot water (didn’t really mind, the cold was not icy), sometimes the western music, food, language can get too much- definitely feels like a beach bar on the Mediterranean, Caribbean etc.

Fantastic and helpful staff, great atmosphere and lots going on. Brilliant stay!

The party culture is good.

No air conditioning during day time.. in spite of expensive stay prices, they don’t upgrade facilities. I feel they should help with transportation from pier to hostel for the price we pay. Also water is expensive to buy as well. Also no Wi-Fi and mobile network in dorms, seriously!!!

Leaving

DO NOT STAY HERE! No electricity for 24 hours (no ac, no fan, no lights, limited/no running water, no wifi). Half the hostel left on Saturday and forced refunds (generators were only used to power the bars but not the rooms). There was a bat in my room. There was a rat crawling on my friends bed. Putrid muddy toilet floors. Mould on piillows. The bartender with the man bun is the rudest man on the planet. He laughed at us asking for refunds and said "no electricity is not that bad, there is a war in Ukraine which is much worse, MOST THE REVIEWS YOU SEE ARE FAKE, THEY OFFER FREE BOAT RIDES IF YOU LIE AND GIVE A POSITIVE REVIEW (signs everywhere promoting this - look at attached photo). This place should be illegal and should be shut down. Pure filth. Avoid it at all costs

amazing location and good events on each evening, they let you run a tab and pay by PayPal at the end of your stay which is super useful

aircon didn’t work for a couple nights

Great social atmosphere, super fun night activities, gorgeous beach and yummy food.

A few rats in rooms so just make sure doors always closed and showers aren’t the greatest.

the staff and people were amazing. so social and fun but still able to have downtime if u needed or wanted it

toilets got a little clogged but there was plenty of them so u could still find a clean one

it’s a nice place, they have a beautiful beach. and the staff so nice

right on the beach! such a gorgeous spot, always enough loungers and bean bags for everyone (I read one review that said this part of the beach wasn’t that nice but it’s absolutely gorgeous). restaurant was pretty good and food always came quick. nightly events were nice. all the dorms were peaceful by being set back from main area. trips offered from hostel were great and easy to book transportation with them while there. btw stay for the Nestival on Saturday!!

dreaded having to go up to reception because there was usually either no one there or no one that can help me because the volunteers weren’t authorized to do much. my dorm was over a 5 min walk away from common area (I think they bought a different property to combine?) which meant I wasn’t motivated to leave once I was back, AC also didn’t seem to work much but likely just my room. no hot water but that’s just the island in general really! and of course no wifi/service in dorms

The location is perfect and the beds are really confortable !

STOP using single plástic use! The beach every morning is full of plastic cups and straws , rubish everywhere , replace plastic straws for bambu or metal straws , and no more plástic cups , is a beautiful place , dont need to be full of rubish

A good location, a little off the beaten track but close enough to access bars/restaurants in the evening. The beach was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful when addressing out problems and we weren't made to feel a nuisance. Good food and drinks at the bar and a nice sociable atmosphere. There are activities to get involved in each day. Appreciated the discounted rate for the problems we experienced.

We checked in to our room and quickly realised that it had not been cleaned from the previous guests (towels left behind, toiletries in the sink, unmade bed), we alerted the staff and the room was cleaned accordingly, the air con then broke in the middle of the night. On day 2 our air conditioning was fixed and then broke again by the afternoon, again staff were helpful in getting the problem fixed and we arrived back from dinner to a cool room. The whole room needs some TLC.

Lovely atmosphere and social areas. Nestival on saturday was very fun! Delicious food. Very comfy bed and nice bathroom.

A bit of a walk to the pier for the boat. Limited drinking water so had to buy for $1.50

The food was incredible, and also the tables on the beach.

The air conditioner of our room doesnt work, we talk with the stuff and they didnt fix it. Also the bathroom werent clean at all, the basket was full the 3 days that we were there. And if you came to rest I recomend you another hostel, because here is like the center of the party so is difficult to sleep because of the loud music.

Everything, honestly

Such a fun hostel. Definitely go for the nestival on Saturdays. Very social and busy. The food is also really nice.

It’s a little far from the main town but still walkable. If you’re looking for a five class comfort stay this isn’t it but it’s fun and pretty clean. You can get a boat taxi to take you from the ferry drop off to the hostel too if you don’t want to walk up the beach with your bags.
