Loved the location just back from Cockermouth main st. It was quiet and easy to walk through to the shops. There is an amazing butcher which backs on to the apartment. The unit has most things one needs for self catering. Basic but available. It is a great base for walks and tours around the Lake District. The Cumberland sausage from the butcher is superb. There is parking on site which is a bonus. Access is interesting to say the least. Big cars will be challenged. Done once it becomes easier. Oh have I mentioned the butcher?

The bed is a bit soft for our liking. The sheets were not really a good fit and easily came off the mattress making sleeping somewhat lumpy.

Second visit here different appartment to last time .cant fault them home from home Wi fi great streamed newcastle match live no issues you are right on the river here and next to all shops and pubs. will be returning next year

There wasnt anything to dislike

It was a excellent location with private parking & the apartment was fairly comfortable.

The apartment was not cleaned to a good standard & was clearly not checked by the owner. There were lots of little 'niggles' too numerous to mention but a few highlights would be a flat sheet on the bed instead of a fitted sheet which was too small so we always ended up sleeping on the mattress which was a bit stained & had no mattress protector: a grubby fridge & microwave: utensils, pots & pans that had to be washed before use. From a safety point of view; the bath/shower had no antislip mat & no grab rails. We both nearly went over a couple of times!

perfect location to explore the lakes. the apartment had everything we needed and close to shops and restaurants.

Great location, although a little difficult to find at first. Everything we needed was there and it’s a great base for exploring the Lake District.

Lovely place. Lots of nice little touches - shampoo, shower stuff, hand soap, washing up liquid etc etc all the things you forget to pack. Everything you would possibly need for a break/stay away from home. Clean and tidy, lovely rooms. Very close to the high street shops, pubs, take aways. You can tell that the owners take good care of the place. Excellent communication from owner also on directions and access instructions. Would recommend.

Would have preferred to get key details before leaving home as difficult to get reception for email/text in some places in the lakes.

Excellent location with free on site parking and very quite. Restaurants bars and shops all within a 2 minute walk on the main st should you need them. Apartment is immaculate and offers great value for money with all the mod cons you need to be comfortable coffee machine, washing machine, dish washer, power shower and comfortable beds. I will certainly be returning soon

Lovely appartment. Very clean and modern, comfortable and warm. Clear checking in instructions received from the owner. Everything we needed was provided.
