The children loved the freedom to explore. Even though the activities were not open, we enjoyed the experience very much. I kept our stay at a castle as a surprise and a surprise it was. Thank You for a lifetime memory for my grandchildren

Location, location, location. Having a medieval castle almost to yourself…?! Yes!! The apartment was great, but being able to have a picnic inside a castle was awesome. One of our favorite trips!

No AC in the bedrooms; if you have a fan, bring one.

This is such a fabulous place! We loved our Christmas at the Schloss and could not have been more delighted with our stay. The apartment is more comfortable than we expected, there are extraordinary views from every window, we had our own castle for Christmas, what’s not to love? Enjoy!

Be prepared for a precarious road on approach Other than that, no complaints, and in fact there is a (bench top) oven which we didn’t expect so the facilities were better than anticipated

Fantastic location. Not far from town but private and better yet we had the castle to ourselves in the morning to explore. We saw wild boars running thru the forest below in the early AM. Beds are so comfortable and it was peaceful at night. Our family of 6 loved this castle. The host was there to help us settle in and was wonderful in helping us find a great restaurant for dinner as theirs was closed during the month of December. We would absolutely come here again.
