Die Lage Nähe der Einkaufsstraße war gut. Alles auf kurzem Weg zu erreichen.
Keine Parkplätze, Parkhäuser etwas entfernt. Baustelle direkt am Haus. In den Gängen des Hotels stapelten sich Kartons.

Die zentrale Lage ist der Hauptvorteil hier. Trotzdem ist es ruhig, und man schläft gut! Die Hotelleitung ist sehr nett und tut alles, um den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten.
Leider ist der Aufzug defekt, und wir hatten eine Teilnehmerin, die Mobilitätseinschränkungen hatte. Hätten wir das gewusst, hätten wir wahrscheinlich nicht hier gebucht.

Check-in und Check-out über den außen angebrachten Schlüsselkasten waren sehr unkompliziert. Alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Zimmer war relativ klein, aber hat trotzdem alles notwendige enthalten und war modern eingerichtet. Die Lage war perfekt, sehr nah am Bahnhof, aber auch nicht weit vom Kongresszentrum entfernt.
Mein Zimmer war vorne zur Straße raus und nachts war es doch relativ laut.

Lage, Frühstück
Das Onboarding war etwas schwierig, da wir keinen passenden Key hatten, diesen aber nach einem Telefonat erhielten. Auch war das Zimmer im 3. Stock, ohne Aufzug, mit viel Gepäck etwas mühsamer Aufstieg.

Unpersönlich, Code zum einchecken wurde nicht ,wie vereinbart,vorher geschickt.nachts extrem unruhig, Tumult auf der Straße, die erst durch polizeilichen Einsatz gegen 4 Uhr morgens endeten. Wir fühlten uns extrem unwohl..

The room had space for two people to move freely. The room looked clean. There was a fan in the room. There was a small refrigerator that could hold three cans of drink and a large TV. Good location for walking to all major attractions.
No personal interaction. No one was ever at the front desk during check-in or check-out during their operating hours. We had to figure everything out on our own. Everything was written in Germany. We did not have internet. We called for help and were told there was nothing they could do but they would call us back after they called their maintenance person. We never got a call. The shower head was broken. We needed more pillows, but there was no one to ask. Very nosey from people in apartments across the way, garbage trucks, and dragging trash cans. No elevator. No nice views. No coffee maker. No parking by the hotel, it is a garage that is a ten-minute drive two blocks away. You have to do everything at the drop box with a code they send you. No breakfast.

Hotel Altstadt was ideally located in Wurzburg near the public transit as well as numerous restaurants.
Mostly just a heads up - Hotel Altstadt required you to have cellular service if you were checking in outside of the check-in hours (1pm-4pm) as you needed to call them to receive your check-in information.

Breakfast was pretty basic. The only cereal on offer was Frosties, too sugary, no muesli or anything similar.
Boiled eggs were the only hot option.

Staff were never at the property or doors were locked making it difficult to get assistance. No instructions for check out. Breakfast, first day we were there, they ran out of food and did not seem to care

Fast tjeck in and everything was ready when I arrived. And it was chea. The bed was super comfortable

The property was located in a good location and typical for a center city property. The rooms were clean, and we did receive the rooms we had booked.
The check-in process was a bit of challenge. The property did not have anyone on hand and did not have a lobby area. I was not expecting that. I also did not realize there were not elevators at the property, we had 7 travelers including children and senior citizens. We did not expect to have to climb so many stairs to get to our rooms. That was not easy with luggage. The rooms were clean, but we noticed the refrigerator was not cleaned out and there were beer bottles left out on the balcony off of our room.

The location of the hotel is ideal..close to the train station, the pedestrian area, and the historical sites. The staff was very welcoming and the room with the terrace was outstanding.

Good room at central location in the city.
Reception wanted to make a copy of my passport. This causes a privacy issue and according to new privacy legislation, this is not allowed anymore. I could fill in a form instead, which was no problem.

The reviews about the hotel were not very good, but it exceeded the expettations. The rooms are renovated, you get everything you would expect from a standard economy class hotel. Even the small fridge was in the room.

The hotel is super central so it's very easy to visit everything around by just walking. No disturbance from the street
The hotel is still under renovation but the rooms are ok and nice looking (and no problem from renovations noises during my stay, nothing). Just miss few accessories in the room, like side bed table with lamps can be useful.
