the property was very clean. although it is small, it has everything you might need. Toiletries in the bathroom, kitchen is fully equipped. there is a lovely small terrace as well, which has nice views. another plus is there is Netflix on the tv. Location is perfect. we had rented a car during our stay, but did not have any problem about parking.

warning that the stairs to the property is very steep. kids need to actually climb them 😊 but we already knew this before we booked, so it wasn't a big issue.

the apartment is exactly as described. In a very beautiful neighborhood. the host was very helpful and friendly, greeted us with a complimentary wine. if you have big luggage or planning to stay with kids just take into consideration the stairs, they are quite strange and not easy to climb. it was not a problem for us we had quite a big laugh :))

Stairs getting into the apartment were unique and a little difficult with luggage but once you are in the unit it is very nice!

Beautiful terrace with views of Alfama and the ocean. Nicely renovated and clean space. Was able to accommodate a child crib.

Check-in was later than expected/described based on cleaning staff's availability. Access to the suite was through a very steep staircase, which was not ideal from an accessibility perspective (i.e., with an infant and stroller).

The bedroom was very hot, an air con unit would be useful here too. Very steep stairs, take care only for fit able bodied people only.

A great apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay in Lisbon. The balcony was perfect for a drink or food and the host was very helpful. Amazing location for authentic Lisbon in the Alfama district, with bars and amazing food all local at great prices…Would highly recommend for anyone, especially first timers to the city.

Loved the apartment it was very clean, nicely decorated and the terrace on top is the icing on the cake. Miguel and his father were very helpful and welcoming.

Great location in Alfama within a good rech to the main square and shopping streets. Lovely view point from the terrace, it's a quite place so you can enjoy birds chanting in the morning. Good communication with Miguel, that made our check in and check out experience really smooth.

One point that is typical of Alfama I guess - the apartment is quite steep and a bit tight, just to be aware.

The wifi kept cutting off and with it the TV, that was there for the whole stay. The stairs are a bit of a challenge, not very comfortable, as is trying to close the door of the house.

Great location with a charming terrace overlooking the rooftops of Alfama. Whilst the apartment uses every nook and cranny, in true Alfama style, it also has everything you need and feels clean and modern inside. Great communication with Miguel, the host, before as well. You are right in the middle of the atmospheric Alfama area and 10 minutes walk from the main square.

Very few minus points - whilst Miguel was kind enough to meet us and let us drop our bags, with enhanced cleaning, we didn't get full access until about 18:00, which felt a little late. We would agree with previous reviews that the air conditioning isn't particularly effective upstairs in the bedroom. Also, typical of Alfama itself, the apartment is steep and tight - not a problem for us but worth being aware!

The location is great, right in the middle of the old town Alfama and close to restaurants. The kitchen and it’s facilities (even a small dishwasher and laundry machine) were superb. But we were most in love with the rooftop terrace! We had an awesome time at this apartment and would love to come back.

The stairs to get to the apartment are very steep. Not a problem for us, but good to know if you are physically less fit. Also, the bathroom is very small and a bit difficult to reach as the couch is right in front of the door. And finally good to know: the top floor with the bedroom and rooftop terrace gets very hot on summer days, too bad the AC is downstairs and didn’t really cool down the top floor.
