Great home with good space for 8 of us. Very clean and comfortable. We took the train from Denver and walked to the house. Did the hike up to the old cemetary and also walked to the hot springs and the vapor caves. We had a great weekend!

Hosted a group of friends here for Friendsgiving, house is awesome. Super clean and had everything we needed. Awesome outdoor space ans super close to everything downtown. Beds were super comfortable as well.

We have stayed in many VRBO's and this was one of our favorites. The location for fun was perfect. Walking distance to every thing downtown. The king size bed was comfortable and the entire house was very clean. It is a great size house for another couple or a small group.

House was in a great location, the house was updated well, two bedrooms upstairs sharing a nice size bathroom and same with downstairs. We would rent this again

Property was very easy to locate. Very near businesses we wanted to frequent, very easy to walk to shops. City Market and Walgreens within 2 blocks and ice Cream shop and authentic Mexican grocer/eatery within 2 blocks the other way. The home had all the accommodations needed. Doc Holliday’s trailhead within a block and across the street. Grill was available and fenced in back yard with cherry tree was handy. Plenty of room for kids to spread out and 2 floors of living/sleeping space was ample. Town is spread out but easy to find sites. Just a very popular summer location with so many people are everywhere with heavy traffic. Great to find Palasade peaches at local stand .

Great location and living space for family vacation. Bedroom and bathrooms were perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. All kitchen and bath essentials were provided.

This was our second time renting this home for our Glenwood Springs base camp. The layout is perfect for a group of friends, the home is very clean, and the beds are comfortable. Easy walking distance to most of the tourist attractions, restaurants, and grocery. Will definitely stay here again.

We have come to Glenwood many times. We are a group of Master's swimmers who love to explore Colorado and have had an annual get together for the last 19 years. This property was perfect! We walked to the pool, walked to dinner, walked to shopping, and some of us did a local hike. The property will not disappoint. All 7 of us were very comfortable in the house. The kitchen was one of the better stocked VRBO properties I have ever stayed in. If we have a large group again, we will definitely book this property again.

The house is just as pretty in person as it is in the pictures. My family and I were so comfortable here. The location is amazing, and we loved that we could walk to many places instead of drive. We had a problem with the heat, and the owners not only resolved it quickly, but they had a back-up heating option for us in the meantime. I would absolutely stay here again.

Overall, it's a very nice house and I'd recommend it to people, but I think the owners can do a little to make it better. We were coming off of another stay at a VRBO in UT that was really amazing, so there were some things at this house that just didn't live up to the greatness of that house. For example, this house seemed to be missing some basics that most VRBOs I've stayed at before have had, such as kleenex, liquid measuring cups (minor, but also something I use daily and a pretty basic kitchen item), clocks (necessary, since the house is older and doesn't have many outlets, so you can't plug your phone in on your nightstand), regular-sized spoons, labels on light-switches and cabinets, games, etc. It is also listed as a pet-friendly house, but it would be nice if they had some old towels that we could have used to wipe our dogs' feet, as it was rainy and therefore muddy in the backyard. If you have dogs and want to stay here- the floors are beautiful, but very slick, and the stairs are open, so if you have a dog that is at all nervous, those things are tricky. We had one dog who had no issues with it and one who was scared to death to go down the stairs to get to the backyard. There also were quite a few piles of dog waste in the backyard when we arrived. I get that it gets snowed on and then the snow melts, and this isn't the owners' fault that previous renters hadn't picked up after their dogs, but it would have been nice to have had a clean yard when we got there. You have to pay a large cleaning fee, but you are expected to wash, dry, and put away all dishes, strip all beds and start a load of laundry, get towels to the laundry room, empty trash, and clean up dog hair before you check out at 10:00 a.m. I don't mind doing those things, but I don't think I should be expected to do all of that AND pay a significant cleaning fee. Finally, we were frustrated that the house wasn't ready on time. Usually a VRBO owner sends me check-in info the day before we are to check-in. I contacted the owner around noon on the day of check-in to make sure I would get the check-in info by the 4:00 check-in time. She did send me the info then. At 4:15 the house still wasn't ready. Apparently some guys had come to work on the internet and that delayed the cleaning for some reason. It would have been nice had we been notified, as we'd been in the car for 6+ hours and it was raining and we couldn't really walk around with our kids and dogs in the rain.

It was a great experience. The owner was responsive and extremely accommodating since we needed to reschedule a couple of times. Arrival and departure instructions were easy and straightforward. This made our stay stress free.

Comfie, clean, spacious, well appointed. I would stay here again. The only negative I can think of is that the floors are very slippery. Bring gripper socks or slippers that do not slip.

This home was perfect for our stay. Within walking distance of most all of the restaurants and breweries. Also, a quick trip up the hill and you can see where Doc Holliday was buried. We very much enjoyed the house and we had amazing weather for the beginning of November. We were even able to enjoy the back yard.

We had six adult women and had a great time. Distance to town was excellent, access to hiking right out side the door. Our group has been getting together annually for 23 years and we really like a place “mosh pit” where we can all sit and talk, laugh and catch up for hours. We also do an art project and the dinning table was a wonderful place to be creative. Ran out of time for the bikes, next time!!!

This property was perfect for our group of 6 and 2 dogs. Very cozy and a perfect spot within walking distance of hikes, restaurants, shops and breweries.

This property was PERFECT for us! We loved the decor and the sleeping arrangements were great. The supplies and accomodations were just right for us. The owners were very responsive to our needs and we appreciated everything. The location is amazing, centrally located and easy to get everywhere. We highly recommend this property!

My three sons and a spouse staid with my wife and I for 5 nights. The house was perfect for us. We also had family and friends stay in another house close by. We had great family gatherings and used the house to base our adventures in and around Glenwood Springs. We brought bikes and parked them under the car port with the four cruiser bikes provided by the owner. The back yard has views of the mountains with a full yard of trees. The cherry tree was full of cherries which I got a few before the birds got the rest. The grocery store was four to five blocks and my kids walked there several times to get vegan supplies. The grocery store is great with a great selection of beer (in case you like beer). You can walk to the downtown area pretty easily. There is a dispensary three blocks walk. A couple of suggestions for considerations. We loved to sit on the upper deck. A few more chairs would be nice. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck in the rain but the lack of gutters on the house got us a little wet. A few more end tables in the great living room would be helpful with coasters to prevent damage. My wife and kids had a great time in Glenwood Springs and the house we staid in was part of the greatness. I would recommend to anyone.

Great location, close to downtown, very walkable to hot springs and restaurants. Lots of thoughtful details from kids plates and cups to restaurant recommendations to popcorn for movie nights. This was so helpful for our little ones aged 2 and 4 year olds and playgrounds close by. Only possible con was some of the mattresses sloped to the middle, but still highly recommend.

We had 2 families of 4. The 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms down was perfect for our group. The kids enjoyed the down stairs living area playing and watching movies. The house was clean and just as pictured. Close to town and all things you would need. We enjoyed our stay and will be back for more skiing at Sunlight Mountain.

If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable home to stay at while in Glenwood Springs, this is it! The kitchen is fully equipped , the view of the mountains from the living room is amazing, the bathrooms are updated , the back yard is spacious and the bamboo floors are beautiful! This is definitely a great find!

We love love love Glenwood and have stayed 2-3 times a year since 1997. We have stayed at The Hotel Colorado the most but in the past few years we've been VRBOing it and this home was my favorite. The owners very accommodating to help us have a great stay and the home itself is a home I'd love to live in. The size, style, location, interior decor...all was perfect for the group of us to enjoy our stay! We will book there again for sure...hope they will be avail again when we come up next!
