Words can’t describe how wonderful our stay was in this beautiful home. Di was so helpful and responsive to our needs for pre-wedding planning. The home is stunning and the views are unbelievable. We had an amazing time as a family congregating on the lanai for morning coffee, evening cocktails and dining alfresco. The walk to the beach was easy and enjoyable. We will definitely return. Oahu and our home stay was some of the best times we have had as a family.

This property is a dream! I would definitely stay here again. Its like 2 houses in 1. There is an upstairs and down stairs with kitchens and livingrooms in both! We had everything we needed provided for us. I mean everything dishwashing soap, snorkel gear, beach chairs bicycles. We had so much fun riding the bikes around the coast. All the info needed for the house is in a binder so REALLY, you feel at home and safe. The view is breathtaking. You wake up to the ocean and birds. The setting is so serene and tranquil. It's was so relaxing to sit outside, close your eyes and just listen to the ocean and birds. We had the most beautiful view of the sunset. Having dinner and watching the sunsets were our favorite. The view is the best!!!! The windows give you a panoramic view of the sunset and ocean. That alone is worth staying here. We even walked to the beach and sat there with the beach chairs and watched some of the most beautifully sunsets i've seen in my life. Di and the property manager are so welcoming and easily reached if anything is needed. This was a dream stay. Di, Winter and Butch thank you. This house exceeded my expectation. I have so much appreciation for all your help and willingness to help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My family enjoyed staying at the house. It had all that we needed. The view was spectacular. We walked to the beach when the waves were calm. The property managers kept in touch and made sure we were fine. Only one hiccup was my children said there were dust/others’ hair on their bedroom floor. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

My family and I were in the area for my sister's wedding. It was the perfect house to accommodate all of us (my parents, aunt, spouse, and child). The large kitchen meant that we could cook and be together. The proximity to the beach was also great for our toddler. We would take our time and walk to the beach in the morning and afternoon. We had a great time.
Di and the property manager Winter were helpful and communicative throughout. All the instructions were clear and made the stay comfortable.

We had a fantastic week staying at this home. It was very clean, great location, and comfortable for our party of 7. It was also easy to contact the owner/manager, when needed, who were both very friendly and helpful. If we get the opportunity to go back to Oahu , we will definitely be saying again, if available. This was a very memorable vacation!

Wonderful North Shore Vacation
What a wonderful home this was. We were not disappointed with the home and the communication with had with Di. The home is gorgeous and outstanding views. What we saw on the listing matched up exactly with what we got. They provided many extra towels, beach chairs, bikes and umbrellas for us to use. The walk to the beach at first seemed long, but it only looks it, it is a very easy walk. The neighborhood is very quiet and the view excellent. Our family left hoping that we'll get a chance to stay here again in the future. We also concluded that you get what you pay for and this was worth it. We had a wonderful North Shore vacation!

Magnificent House!
We enjoyed this magnificent house on the North Shore! What a beautiful property with “take your breath away” views! We could watch the surfers each day and had many beautiful rainbows 🌈. The house is very spacious and immaculate! There is plenty of room to spread out and relax. We were a group of 4 adult sibling couples. The house has everything you need! The on-site property managers Winter and Butch were there to help with any questions and actually had a few items that we needed waiting at the house before we checked in. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home! Great memories were made! ❤️

Beautiful home
Our family of 8 spent two weeks in this beautiful home. It was such a treat to look out over the ocean beyond sunset beach and see a never ending stream of whales jumping out of the water and the surfers on the big waves. We recommend to anyone who would like to spend time on the north shore of Oahu.

Amazing, simply amazing
We had such a great stay. This house is incredibly appointed and the owners put so much thought into everything they provide. I couldn’t think of one thing we needed that they didn’t have available for use. From kitchen and BBQ supplies to beach gear and towels, the owners cater to every need. As an example, each night stand had a small flashlight. Very thoughtful, though we didn’t need to use them because the house is well equipped with night lights!
The location is perfect, right above Sunset Beach and a short walk to the ocean, Teddy’s ( must try pies!) and the Sunrise Shack (coffee, smoothies, açaí bowls). The views are endless and the Sunsets are incredible. The lanais are where we spent most of our time. The walk back up to the house is a moderate hill so maybe a challenge if you have older folks in your party. Easy enough to shuttle people down by car if you need to.
The house is very comfortable and spacious. We originally planned to have 8 total but 3 couldn’t stay so our party was 5 for the week. Though too much house for 5, we absolutely still wanted to stay here and am glad we did. Can’t say enough great things about our stay. The North Shore is amazing. My family had a great time!
The area is very quiet. The quiet time is real so if you are looking to party late at night look somewhere else. We all were exhausted by 10 each night anyway from all the sun and surf. Property manager next store is extremely nice and helpful and there if you need him. We didn’t need anything but he checked in with us to make sure all was ok. Communication with Di and Paul was awesome as well. So much pride of ownership with this place and I am grateful we had the chance to share in it.

Amazing property and experience.
Can’t say enough good things about being able to stay at this beautiful home for some family time with our son who lives on the Island. Our family had great times cooking together and playing games at the house and enjoying the beautiful view. The kids used the bikes to go to the beaches at their convenience. It was close to everything we needed to enjoy an amazing family vacation after being kept apart by the pandemic for a year.
We are very grateful to have found this home.

Perfect place to stay. Plus, the house has 10 bikes and lot of equipment for the beach. **The only warning to future guests is that the quiet hours from 10pm-8am are strict. No breakfast or even morning coffee with friends on the outdoor porch before 8am

Unbelievable!!!
This house is everything and more than the description and pictures tell and show you. We found ourselves not even wanting to go out to eat because the kitchen was so nice and the Lanai was a place we didn't want to leave. Every morning we woke up We would stare out at the ocean to watch Humpback whales breaching and even saw a pod of about 100 Spinner Dolphins cruise by. I could write a book about our vacation but it's better to experience this house for yourself. Not only was the house more than what we expected but Di, the owner was incredibly easy to communicate with and I feel like I have a new friend without ever meeting her. Ralph the property manager was also very easy to get along with and always fast to respond to anything we needed. Without a doubt, this is the best house I've ever rented through VRBO and will absolutely be coming back!

Amazing white water views of Sunset beach and beyond. You can watch surfers and whales from the Lanai, kitchen, dining, all bedrooms and living room! Super comfy beds, super clean, modern furnishings all the necessities you would need/want including full beach gear!

We stayed at this place for almost 2 month.It is only a short 7 minutes stroll on a quiet street to the beautiful Sunset beach.The house is the last one on a cull de sack street, up on a little hill with amazing views and beautiful sunsets!We liked this little hill for a workout at the end of our run or bike ride :)This house had everything we needed and was very well stocked with plenty of dish ware, Nespresso and coffee machine, blender, rice cooker, all supplies from toilet paper, dishwasher and laundry detergent, first aid kit, plenty of towels including beach towels etc.Many bikes of all sizes, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas,....The owners are in Australia but super responsive to anything we needed via text or email. The neighbor is the house manager who also is there anytime in case we needed something.The only little downside was there is no air conditioner and late afternoon, the house can get hot. There are many glass doors, but unfortunately with no screens. Only a few windows had screens. It does cool off later at night though and when it is cloudy, it does not get crazy hot. So it was manageable. The ceiling fans in each rooms helped too.Best is to spend that time at the beach.We really loved our stay and hope we can come back sometimes.

Beautiful modern light house on the hill with amazing view
We stayed at this place for almost 2 month.
It is only a short 7 minutes stroll on a quiet street to the beautiful Sunset beach.
The house is the last one on a cull de sack street, up on a little hill with amazing views and beautiful sunsets!

The only little downside was there is no air conditioner and late afternoon, the house can get hot. There are many glass doors, but unfortunately with no screens. Only a few windows had screens.
It does cool off later at night though and when it is cloudy, it does not get crazy hot.
So it was manageable. The ceiling fans in each rooms helped too.
Best is to spend that time at the beach.
We really loved our stay and hope we can come back sometimes.

Amazing beach house!
We loved our stay, the house was beautiful. The views are out of this world, we took a sunset picture every night. Di and Paul were perfect hosts and their home is completely stocked with everything you could need for a relaxing beach vacation. We highly recommend this house .

Wish we stayed longer
Exactly what we were looking for, quiet, peaceful and within a short stroll to the stunning beaches of the North Shore. The house was amazing, plenty of space for the family and kids. Had some friends at Turtle bay which was a short drive up and very close to all the food trucks just past Turtle Bay resort.
Couldn't fault the cleanliness of the house, all finishes, appliances and assistance by Ralph the Property Manger who is just next door.
The surf is literally just a few moments away which we loved..
Planning on our trip next year can't wait to go back, couldn't recommend this property highly enough.
This house has everything families are looking for.

We loved our Hawaiian vacation
Di's house is exactly as described. It is spacious with ocean views throughout the home. We all appreciated how well stocked the home was. A closet for necessities such as tampons, bandaids, extra toothbrushes, alka seltzer, etc. as well as large containers of shampoo and bodywash. The kitchen is stocked with most items we all have in our homes, which made cooking a meal easy. It was great to have quick and easy access to the beach and not forced to drive around north shore if we felt like staying in the neighborhood. There are a few nice restuarants in the area, which was great~

Beautiful home, fabulous location, everything you need for a luxury vacation.
We are repeat guests at this wonderful North Shore home. The lanai has 180 degree views of sunsets, surf, whales and ocean breezes - our favorite place to have morning coffee or a bbq dinner. The North Shore culture is tropical country, away from town, but close enough if you want higher energy. Enjoy riding bikes, strolling on the beach, watching the surfers, golfing, snorkeling - the list never ends. The home is clean, high quality, everything you need for the beach, cooking, or just relaxing. The pictures are very representative of the beautiful interior and stunning setting. You cannot go wrong with this home. The owners are easy to communicate with, responsive and anxious for you to enjoy the home as much as they do. Aloha!

We are a family of five (my kids are 10, 8 and 6) and we all "almost" feel at home. My kids ask us to return someday to the North Shore, to the same house.
The house its so confortable, in many ways. The layout of the spaces, the views, the kitchen equipment, the blankery, and you have everything for the beach, ! And it has so many lovely details like games and books for adults and kids, toillet personal beauty(shampoo, body cream, soap, thoopaste) a very complete first aid set, and every thing you need for a picnic).
We hope some day to go back!!

Gorgeous North Shore Oahu home with wonderful ocean/sunset views
We just returned from 5 nights at Di and Paul's gorgeous home. We wish it had been longer! It's a stunning home design with a modern look. We couldn't stop talking about how happy we were to be there. We were traveling with 3 generations: my parents, my sister/her husband/their 2 year old, and my husband /our 11 yr old and 6 yr old. All the rooms in the home are lovely with views of the ocean, and each with their own bathrooms. The showers were wonderful, with great water pressure. The extra second floor bathroom was also quite helpful to have. The home had everything we needed to cook meals, do laundry, BBQ outside, and enjoy some exquisite sunsets together as a family. One of my favorite things was to sit on the lanai, look out at the ocean, and admire the beautiful colors as the sun set. All the views from the home are just wonderful, even the back of the home which looks like a lush tropical garden. The landscaping was quite impressive. We made several trips to Foodland for groceries, which was just down the road. We ate all our meals outside. It rained a bit during our stay, but the lanai was nicely protected, and the rainbows were incredible. I've never seen rainbows so full, from end to end. The front lawn was great for the kids to play on, and you can see them from the lanai. Thank you for sharing this home with us. We hope to be back in the years to come. Mahalo!

Stunning Home on North Shore
Fantastic property to enjoy all that the North Shore has to offer. Stunning ocean views and sunsets were enjoyed daily from the lanai. The home was perfect for a large family, each with their own bed/baths, and plenty of room for dining on the deck or watching TV in the living room.
Our family of nine stayed for 10 days and the house and location has all the conveniences necessary to make you feel at home. Close to the beach, bike path, bus stop, market, food trucks, and fun! The sound of the surf pounding at night is very soothing and relaxing.
We’ve stayed at many VRBO/HomeAway properties, but Di and Paul are the best owners we’ve worked with. Very responsive to our needs and helped work through some scheduling conflicts.
Highly recommended.

Excellent!
Great location on the North Shore. My husband and son were close to golf at turtle bay. My daughter got to see the turtles on the north shore. We brought my husbands parents. The place was perfect. We could have our own rooms and bathrooms. The place was spotless and had everything you could think of from boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs and coolers. As you know, most homes do not have AC but the design of the home allowed for a great breeze. We had a wonderful time even on the one rainy day because of Hurricane Hector!

Perfect spot, wonderful vacation!
My family and I absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautiful, clean and stocked with everything you need (even toys for our little one). We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and convenience to the beaches, food and town. We spent many of our mornings and evenings (when we weren’t out exploring) out on the beautiful lanai! The owner, Di was so enjoyable to work with and super responsive too all of our questions! Ralph, the property manager was also very informative and available if we needed. When we make our way back to North Shore, we will be sure to stay here again! Thank you Di!

Stunning View and Perfect for a Family
This place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a relaxing week on the beach! We had our family of five and three of our relatives with us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The layout made it so everybody had their own space but also plenty of room for everyone to hang out together in the main area.
You could see the ocean for miles! The living room/kitchen had floor to ceiling windows that allowed you to see from all angles and the porch view was even better! We could have spent all day there just looking out at the water and it was great for watching the sunset as well.
Di and the property manager were so attentive and helpful throughout the whole stay. They made our visit very easy and stress free, supplying us with all the amenities we needed for the week.
The house also had great access to plenty of delicious food, a great bike path that stretches for miles, a variety of hikes, and a very clean and beautiful beach! All of this is just a short walk away down the street.
We had a fantastic time and this was the perfect place to just relax and enjoy a vacation! Definitely want to come back - Thank You!

Best Lanai on Oahu
We spent six nights at Maluhia at Sunset. The house is super clean and modern, and at the same time it is extremely comfortable. Plus, it has everything you could possibly need - from beach chairs and boogie boards to binoculars for watching surfers from the Lanai. The lanai might just be the best place in all of Hawaii. What a lovely and relaxing spot. We loved cooking in that state of the art kitchen and eating out on the lanai.
We explored the various beaches in Haleiwa - I think Waimea Bay was our very favorite. We had the best time swimming there. Great food trucks and sushi in Haleiwa. What a treat to come back to the house and its deluxe outdoor shower.
Ralph and Ginger were extremely helpful and friendly, as was Di. We sure hope to return again. Many, many thanks for the best vacation.

Incredible property - the photos don't even do it justice.
Been staying on the North Shore for years, and this is the first time we ventured up off the sand and across Kam Highway. Entirely different experience - the views are incredible, and the neighborhood feels like a nature reserve.
The house is perfect, everything a renter could want and more - plenty of room and every resource you need for a great stay. Di has put together a paradise up at the top of the hill here, and the property manager Ralph was there to make sure our stay was smooth sailing.
First rental house I've ever stayed at where the listing's photos didn't even do it justice - you gotta experience this place in person.

Stunning house in stunning location
We stayed at Maluhia @ Sunset recently as part of my husband's 50th birthday celebrations (Hawaii 5-0)
We were a party of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids - ages 12-15). We were struggling to find a good quality home near the beach with bed configurations that suited us - both of our girls took a friend each and most accommodation places that slept 6 were mainly offering double or queen beds (ok to share a bed for a night or 2 but not for a whole week)
Di and Paul's place exceeded all expectations - a spectacular home in a stunning location and had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The house has 4 bedrooms - upstairs has 1 king with ensuite and robe and a twin room, then a Queen with ensuite and twin downstairs. Each floor has a kitchen and lounge so you could have 2 separate groups in there if needed.
The little extras such as beach towels/ chairs/umbrellas/boogie boards/eski and bikes made our holiday so easy and enjoyable.
The location was stunning with easy driving to a supermarket and food vans. And oh the view.......
Manager Ralph was always available if needed and very helpful.
Owners Di and Paul were a pleasure to deal with.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet get away. You don't need much - just a book and a nice glass of something as you watch the sunset fade away from the beautiful outdoor lanai.

Amazing week at Maluhia @ Sunset. Can't recommend strongly enough!!!
First, the house and property exceeded all of our expectations. The house was impeccably clean and laid out just perfectly for everyone in our large family (Mom, Dad, and five kids between 8 and 18) to have plenty of space to spread out.
Virtually all views from the house are west-facing making for relaxing mornings (no blazing sun waking us up) and spectacular sunsets each day. The weather was in the mid-80s throughout the week, but in spite of no AC (no one has AC in Hawaii), the house never felt hot thanks to great air circulation.
Maluhia is well-stocked across the board . . . kitchen, linens, beach gear, and even flashlights which we needed to use when we left our GoPro on the beach one night! And the location can't be beat. We spent the entire week along the Seven Mile Miracle and we biked virtually everywhere from Three Tables/Sharks Cove to Ted's Bakery. Bikes, snorkels, towels, chairs, sand toys, and boogie boards were all available for us to use.
I should call out that Di and Paul were amazing hosts. Their communication was proactive, frequent, and always considerate. They clearly love their home and guests. The property managers (Ralph and Ginger) did a great job representing them while we were there and provided valuable recommendations and insight into island living. As frequent travelers, we often find ourselves dreading talking to the owners or PMs . . . we just want to enjoy our stay without intrusion. This stay was completely different as our interactions only enhanced our enjoyment of the property, the North Shore, and the entire island.
Finally, I know a lot of people worry about neighborhood noise and party-going tourists. We were at the house for seven nights and not once did we hear anything but birds, wind, and surf. This is an extremely quiet and private dead-end street and if you're the kind of person who values privacy and peace/quiet, you've hit the jackpot. If you come to Hawaii for the party scene, that's great, but you'll need to look elsewhere.
Bottom line, a phenomenal stay in a beautiful home. Mahalo, Di and Paul, Ralph and Ginger, for making the week so special for our family. We'll certainly be back again.
