The bed - too soft. Mattress edge sagging from previous heavy guests. Futon too thick for hot weather.

Sitting on our balcony looking at the beach was the best. The included breakfast was superb and the lychee martinis at happy hour were the best martinis ever. Easy walk to the main street.

The location of the property is across the road from Four Mile beach and 5 minutes walk from Macrossan street with all shops and restaurants.

The hotel is dated 4,5 star, but to be brutally honest it is very far from that. The building requires major renovation overall, the paint and gutters, etc The photos on the internet were deceiving and probably made years ago, as they display luxury and good quality furniture. Unfortunately, the furnishing in our room is left much to be desired with food and drinks marks on the sofas, lamp shades and broken chips on the furniture and tiles. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, the sliding doors in the bedroom did not close properly, the pillows were not very comfortable, etc I must say that the staff was friendly and the breakfast was great, although we have to pay extra for the certain food items.

Amazing location, we could watch sunrise and hear the waves crashing on the shore. A wonderful getaway for two people.

We couldn't retrieve our washing from the washing machine because the door malfunctioned. A maintenance person attended and it took him a while to retrieve our washing. Reception mentioned that this happens regularly.

Environment and staff were excellent. Room service a lick and a promise but we really didn’t need more.

Lack of plates and cutlery. Only a set of 3 which meant using dishwasher after each meal.
