The room was a good size, the location was fabulous, right across the road from.the lake and close to a lot of attractions and sites. The bed was super comfortable.

Very bad sound proof and old squeaky floor, so we could hear people above us walking back and forth in their room constantly in the early morning and we couldn’t sleep because of that Parking was a spot in a private garage a block away - not ideal but understandable given the location

The room and location were great, the bathroom contained everything what needed, including different mirrors, body cream etc.

We were not very satisfied with the restaurant service, including breakfast. Waiters were polite, but it seemed that there was the lack of staff, especially for breakfast. Mostly one waitress was rushing and trying to serve everyone. It happened on several occasions in the restaurant that waiters went to to clarify some food related questions and forgot to come back .

La chambre spacieuse avec coin détente mini salon. La baignoire avec suffisamment d'eau chaude pour en profiter. Les fenêtre qui isolent bien du bruit. Le petit balcon... tout était idéal. Merci

Die Lage nähe Bahnhof, Innenstadt und Vierwaldstättersee ist klasse. Vor dem Hotel Restaurant kann man wunderbar draußen essen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wie überall in Luzern. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, so gut wie kein Verpackungsmüll und eine sagenhafte frische Brotauswahl. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit bei Fragen.

Zum Frühstück trinken wir gerne die eine oder andere Tasse Kaffee. Leider gibt es keine Kännchen und wir mussten jedesmal aktiv nachfragen. Die Bedienung morgens schaute immer weg und wir versuchten durch hingehen in Kontakt zu kommen. Dabei fühlten wir uns immer wie Bittsteller und das bei 4 Übernachtungen. Sehr, sehr schade.

En primer lugar, el lugar donde se encuentra. El trato del personal. En recepción eran muy amables y siempre comentándonos actividades, lugares que visitar y opciones más económicas para el transporte.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist gut zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind außergewöhnlich, haben uns aber sehr gefallen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und von sehr guter Qualität. Hervorheben möchte ich noch das freundliche und kompetente Personal, das alle Wünsche erfüllte. Wir haben auch 2an einem Abend im Restaurant gegessen und können dies nur empfehlen.

The location was wonderful: close to the old town but tucked away near a quiet plaza. The valet service was nice and the parking charge (SF28). The room was clean and spacious and well appointed. The breakfasts were spectacular but -- like most of the breakfasts in most European hotels -- very expensive (SF21/person). I would definitely recommend this hotel AND would grab a coffee and pastry at any one of the many patisseries nearby.

The only surprise was the cost of the attached restaurant. My wife and I had traditional and simple Swiss dishes -- no appetizers or desserts -- and two glasses of wine. The bill was SF170 (USD$185). While Switzerland is more expensive that many countries, this seemed excessive. (Why didn't we eat elsewhere? We didn't know the prices when we accepted the hotel's offer to book a reservation for the day we arrived.) I'm not complaining as I readily paid the price AND the food was delicious, I'm simply giving others a heads up.

We loved the very traditional vibe of the hotel and its central location. Beds weren't the best and the rooms a little outdated.

Arrived late and tired - receptionist was helpful but short in tone - not welcoming. Room was boiling because no instructions were provided for portable air conditioning and it wasn’t vented so gave out more hot air than cold. ( opening windows instead was better) Everywhere closed for eating as after 9.15 but we could have had a drink outside from bar according to room info ( open til 11.30pm) this wasn’t suggested so we went elsewhere. Decor in room not to my taste - modern fixtures and fittings did not complement the old character of the architecture. Compared to our hotels in France, Italy and Luxembourg this was sadly our least favourite but most expensive and most expensive parking

So cozy room, big bathroom, nice view to the city - three windows. So clean. The restaurant is right in the house - was storm in the evening, we were happy to have chance to have good dinner!
