Staff were very friendly location to town and 2 pools to swim in. We very much enjoyed the over eighteen age limit, nice to have NO children running around and noisey. We love 💕 all our 18 grandchildren and 2 Great children so nice to have time out now and then. 😎😎

LOVED our stay

This was one of the best places I have had the pleasure of staying at. Friendly welcoming staff, beautiful and extremely clean room which had everything we could need and the private hot tub an extra extra plus.. Great location close to beach and the main street Highly recommended for a peaceful relaxing getaway will definitely be back. The best accommodation I have found in Port Douglas.

Nothing material

the property was quiet and clean and good location

we didn’t like the adults with the blow up floating chairs and playing ball in the pool. we had both at a family resort which we hated so we didn’t expect adults to be doing kids stuff. the floaters took over the pool and we actually only used the pools once because of this which was a shame

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Location was excellent, very close to the main street of Port Douglas where all the restaurants are and to Four Mile Beach. Lovely and quiet at night.

All the rooms were compact and overlooking the pool, it made us feel uncomfortable using the pool. Small balcony again facing the pool and other units so minimal privacy there. Flat pillows causing uncomfortable sleep and neckache.

Excellent location close to everything, beach, restaurants, shops and marina.

The location was phenomenal. So close to Macrossan St, the Marina and the Four Mile Beach. The two pools and BBQ facilities were great and the rooms were nice and spacious. the spa bath was a lovely touch too.

The bed was a little springy, but that’s all I could really fault the resort on. Everything else was amazing.

We have stayed at Shantara a few times and always love the experience. The accommodation, staff, pool, location and no children are perfect for us.

noise from other rooms , the room above us had a spa at 2am every night it was hard to sleep with that constant noise

excellent location, walking distance to the marina, pool was beautiful

our bed was really uncomfortable, had some sort of lump in it which was disappointing

the rooms should be cleaned daily when on holiday and not charged more for.

Pool access, quiet, close to the main part of town

The room was so hot. Advised not to turn aircon below 25 degrees. The tiled floor was so hot as if there were hot water pipes underneath.
