We loved the picnic, and the spa area where we got to spend the rest of our day. The farm breakfast restaurant was fair better than the main hotel.

The buffet food was super dry, the fish was the worst dish. The waiter should try the food or at-least have the knowledge of the menu, it was just very disappointing. It such a beautiful place you would think the meal will match :(.

1. The check-in process needs to go faster, especially if one booked via booking.com. 2. Ladies' bathrooms had no soap to wash your hands - both dispensers were empty 3. Our bfast waiter..omg, can he get any slower?? 4. Even on a previous visit, another older zeaiter was very sloooooow. 5. Please invest in new bed sheets. During African Pride days, bed sheets were crips, and now they are old and looked not ironed. makes you feel like someone was just sleeping in that bed.

The room itself was good. The view of the grounds and lake from the room was beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were all very good, and the atmosphere and scenery was natural, calm and relaxing. The walking trail was also nice.

I was put in a room right next to a room and a few rooms down the line and also above where building repairs were being done. It was very noisy and defeated the whole purpose of leaving my home to have a calm and relaxing time away. I complained to the staff on the evening of the 6th. I enquired why I had not been informed prior, and they asked if I would want to change rooms. Available room was an upstairs room, though nice, it was a standard room and had no view and balcony compared to my King room on the ground floor with a lake view. I was then asked to speak to the supervisor in the morning of the 7th who would sort me out which I did. I got to know that the work was going to continue again that day from 11am till 6pm. In addition, I had to pay the current room rate if I had to move which was more than what I had paid for the King room. I had to endure the inconvenience they had caused me and all I received was an apology. I spoke with another supervisor as I checked-out and expressed my unhappiness with the room experience, Again, only an apology was received and no compensation whatsoever. She said they would get back to me, but I am yet to hear from the establishment. The TV channels were also not too good. Other than the noisy building works nest to my room, the experience was great.
