Everything is okay except the hot water shower is very low pressure, almost like a dripping than a shower. Maybe part of cost saving.

Stayed for a night and it was ok! Breakfast was good and plenty, rooms were clean and pretty spacious. Close to all trail heads, hot water and a full kitchen available

The host was extremely generous and helpful with all of our needs- a very kind and thoughtful person. The room was warm and comfortable with cosy lighting. We liked it a lot and slept very well. The location perfect - right next to the start of the treks and nearby some excellent restaurants and shops. The breakfast was good, with different options and nice strong coffee. We enjoyed the communal kitchen for cooking and watching TV on a rainy day. We enjoyed were so happy we decided to extend our stay.

Clean, calm and with a good breakfast. The staff was very kind. Near the starting point of many hiking trails.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and even with little English we understood each other. The room was nice and sunny. The hostel is really close to all the trails which is nice.

It’s tiny things that didn’t alter my trip but wall are really thin! I could hear the guest snoring in the other room. the wifi is not really consistent in the room but its El Chalten ;)

Despite arriving late we had no trouble being checked in. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. They were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They gave great advice on walking routes and helped us book a taxi when we had left it too late for the bus! The room was spacious and clean with comfortable bed and a great shower. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. Breakfast was delicious and the location was great. Overall a great place and would definitely stay again!

Very clean and well maintained. Best hotel in this price range during our 6 weeks in Patagonia.

The hostess was very friendly, eager to help, explain the trails and give recommendations. The room was clean and cozy with wooden furniture. The breakfast included toast, jam, ham and cheese as well as cornflakes/ oat flakes, yoghurt and fruit salad. The Hostal is well located, on a quiet edge of the town, but within walking distances of the main streets and trail starts.

The WIFI was quite unstable though that seems to be a general problem in Chalten. The service during breakfast could have been more attentive, at times almost all tables had used dishes.

Very friendly staff. Great laundry service. Very good located close to the main hiking path and also close to all restaurants and bars. Nice bed and bathroom.
